We have a pet therapy dog and cat (they visit

We have a guitarist who makes individual room visits on Fridays. If you would like to request that she visit you,

Here at Carrington CourtWe are always on the runEnjoying many activitesAnd having lots of fun

Balloon Badminton is a Game many like to play

It always brings usLaughter on any weekly day

We all sit in a circleWith a racket in our handReady to hit large balloons

Back to our loved Diane

Joyce just loves this gameAnd lights up with a smile

Hitting at a slower paceAnd in her special style

Leon seems to like to playAnd might have been a pro

When Diane wants a challengeBack and forth they go

Vicki likes to hit itSometimes with her hand

And is a happy camperWhen she hears her racket slam

Carolyn can make them floatThen spin around awhile

And Larry likes to sit thereGloating with a smile

Norma hits the hardestYou can hear that whipping sound

And Nancy with her baseballArm sends it heaven bound

Floyd always comes to play And has that special touch

When he isn’t sleepingHe likes it very much

Rhea has a steady gazeAnd always hits it back

She never seems to falterNor concentration lack

At times we get entagled with ourRackets reaching high

Then can’t believe we missed itThat balloon that passed us by

When we have more helpersWe then need more balloonsThat’s when things get crazyAnd we all act like buffoons

We play about an hourKeeping Diane on the runLast time she was gasping

Knelt down and said“OK you guys - I’m done!”

Charlotte and Wilbern McDougal met in Hood River, Oregon in 1961. Wilbern was a missionary for the LDS church and Charlotte was a teacher at Oregon

State University. They both instinctively knew when they saw each other that they would be together for life. Wilbern finished his mission and returned to

school at BYU, but continued to date Charlotte who lived in Oregon. Wilbern hitchhiked 30 times back

and forth to “date” Charlotte. They married June 16, 1963. Wilbern began his own real estate company

and ran McDougal Real Estate for over 40 years. He was also the Republic National Committeeman for

the state of Utah for approximately eight years. They both had a grand time attending functions and balls during President Reagan’s term. Together they have

four children and 14 grandchildren. A life well spent!!
