“We embarked on a project to install Waiting Room TV into all practices in Aylesbury and Chiltern CCGs (formerly Buckinghamshire PCT). After an evaluation process and for many reasons we chose the Envisage system from Numed. It enabled the individual practices to create their own playlist from the Numed media library and other sources such as NHS Choices and their own personally created material. It also gave us the ability at a CCG level to place media into the practice playlist in a centrally coordinated manner, drawing patients attention to National and local campaigns, directing people to alternative and companion services such as the MIU, social and mental healthcare and other support services.
