This guarantee ensures that the client is protected against the failure of watertightness caused by incorrect design, defective materials, contractor insolvency or poor workmanship. Guarantees can provide coverage for 10, 15, 20 and 25 years, and are supported by Sika’s AAA credit rating.
2. COMPREHENSIVE AUDIT PROCESS
The programme withstands stringent and demanding entry criteria, and a code of practice, to offer clients security and assurance, therefore members must undergo regular office audits to ensure the contractor follows excellent working practices and procedures.
3. EXPERT TRAINING
QA Contractors’ management teams and installers receive full training in all application techniques and products, conducted by our experienced, dedicated Sika Roofing Applications team. All training takes place in our purpose-built Training Academy at Sika Liquid Plastics’ offices in Preston and new members must first become trained as Verified Contractors before moving on to QA Contractor status.

4. DEDICATED TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Our Technical Services team assists clients and QA Contractors in the selection of the most appropriate systems, offers free technical support throughout, and produces tailor-made specifications to meet the needs of individual projects. Specifications can also be supplemented with U-Value calculations, CAD Drawings, BIM objects, and thermographic imagery.
5. PROJECT SIGN-OFF AND AFTER CARE
On-site project support is provided throughout by our Applications team, consisting of highly skilled roofing experts who offer technical advice, guidance, and conduct regular comprehensive inspections. Once the project is completed, and the highest level of workmanship has been reached, the guarantee will be issued. All details will then be provided in the ‘We Care’ After Care Pack.
