Types of WBS: This depends type in MORF(in screen 1)

TWBS- WBS starts with T. This WBS is for single title.

C-WBS-WBS starts with C. This WBS is for compilation of single tiltes. These are finally settled to T-WBS elements

K- WBS Elements-WBS starts with K. This K WBS is combination of CWBS

Levels of WBS

1. Project definition (T.Code:CJ01) this contains the type of WBS and Fame number

2. Level 1: (T.code:CJ02) This contains project definition and company code and country code and Window group

WBS Automatic creation

1.Title and products get created in MORF and ZC019 file gets created every night with these creations and changes

2. ZC019 file in loaded in SAP in T.Code:AL11---/PELINT/zu19/in

3.The file is triggered through ZMATERIAL job in SM37 and creation and changes in WBS are posted in SAP.

Functions of ZC019 job

1. Creates WBS

2. Changes WBS

3. Creates and changes Settlement rule of WBS

4. Updates ZFISL table

5. Updates ZUPCTAR table

Note: When a WBS needed to created automatically

1. Check the products in MORF

2. Write a mail to Fame team (contact person Abhishek Sharma) and mention fame number to be added in ZC019 file .By next morning WBS must be get created

Manual creation of WBS

Usually C, K, T WBS are not created manually. They are created manually only when its urgent like at period end times.Need approval from the business to create mannually

Check before creating WBS

1. Type if title in MORF

2. Check if product exist in MORF for the country code, format

3. Check for the correct product line in MORF

Creating WBS manually

1. Go to transaction CJ02 and enter project definition

2. Check whether the WBS already exists, select the “WBS element” column and search using “Ctrl + F”. If the WBS already exists, fine, otherwise create it.3. Make sure you create L1 (Level 1) before L2 (Level 2).4. Enter the WBS

5. Enter Description, which is the title text and append it with “-L1” or “-L2” depending on the level of WBS. Leave ‘short ID’ blank. The ‘Type’ field contains the level of the WBS.6. Check all four boxes

7.Make the status released

8. Go to assignments tabAnd add correct profit center, company code, Business area

Profit center structure contains 10 characters:

CCCC – company code.

B - Business unit

T – TV product

F- Flim product

Y - Market sold to

E – Video

F - Free TV

P - Pay TV

T – Theatrical

XXX - Product Line

0 – General (not format specific)

Hierarchy of MPM

Creation of MPMS




Hierarchy of MPM:

1. On top the title is created. It is a combination of F+0+5digit fame number

2. For different formats and window groups different formats are created. This starts with digit 7 and is a 8 digit number

3. The formats are divided into products based on the article number, language and customer suffix. This starts with 8 digit and is a 8 digit number

Creation of MPMS by program

The MPM data will be in SAP in below tables

The batches in these tables are processed to get MPM created in SAP and clear them


1. Check If Material exists in Mara(general material data) and MARC (Company code data) tables for that Article number

2. Mail to fame team (Abhishek Sharma) and send him details fame number, country code, language, Window, format, article number and request him to add in MAMAMAS file for Title and Product and in Fish file for format.

Mapping Tables of MPM and WBS

ZUPCTAR_CSuffix

ZFI_SL table

1.ZUPCTAR

ZUPCTAR table is maintained to map article number, county code, company code, WBS and MPM product(without Csuffix). So that when ever the MPM is selected, the correct WBS will be assigned. These details must match with MORF

Update the data company code, Country code and article number, WBS and MPM (without Cusffix)

2.ZUPCTAR_Csuffix

ZUPCTAR table is maintained to map article number, county code, company code, WBS and MPM product (with Csuffix). So that when ever the MPM is selected, the correct WBS will be assigned.

2.ZFI_SL table

ZFISL table is maintained to map mainly Company code ,WBS ,MPM format and MPM title

Other than the above, WBS will mapped with royalty and legal owner, product line, licensor, USN number. These details must match with MORF

These two tables are mandatory to be maintained after manual creation of WBS and MPM data
