SUNDAY WORSHIP CELEBRATION SNAPSHOT

A typical Worship Celebration at GSP lasts about 90 minutes  and the message is usually given by Pastor  Simmons.

During our Celebration Services, we love to praise and worship God in song, thanking Him for what He is doing in our lives. Presentations from our Dance Ministry are another way we worship God. Our outstanding band performs lively and exciting music that you won’t  forget!

Although our Greeters welcome you, we take a few minutes to welcome one another during the Celebration Service. Wealso extend “happy birthday” greetings to our members and guests.

We let you know all the “who, what, where, and when” about what’s going on at GSP during our announcements.

You’ll notice every week there’s a time in our Celebration Service for people to  give financially. While this is on one hand something we’re called to do in Scripture, it’s also just our way of saying, “We love our church and we want to support it!”  However, you should feel zero pressure togive as our guest today.

We capture images of our audience (including minors) dur‐Ing live streaming and videotaping of our Worship Celebration Services. These images may appear on our website, socialmedia pages, and in print.  If you do not wish to be seen oncamera or have photos taken of you or your minor child, please advise an Usher, so you may be escorted to an area not generally included in the live streaming, videotaping, and photography of our Worship Celebration Services.

FIRST‐TIME GUESTSIf this is your first time at GSP, we hope you enjoy your experience with us today. We

encourage you to fill out the guest card you receive from our Greeters. Turn it in

when requested during the Celebration Service, and get the special gift we have for

you.

WHY GREATER ST. PAUL CHURCH?Sundays are special here at GSP, but at the heart of all the projects, programs, and

activities at GSP is the Mission Jesus gave the Church: “Go ye, therefore…” (Matthew

28:19). We’re committed to leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus

Christ. Whether you are new to faith, just coming back to church, or a long‐time

follower of Jesus, we hope you find your time with us engaging and helpful.

NEXTWant to learn more about GSP? Interested in getting involved, but not sure what’s

the best next step? Pastor Simmons meets with first‐time guests for a few minutes

immediately following each Sunday Worship Celebration to say hello and answer

questions regarding what your “next” should be to learn more about our mission,

strategies, and opportunities for involvement at GSP.

“We have really enjoyed the Service over the last fewweeks. God was present in those Services...we are lookingfor a church here in Oakland…We are looking for directionfrom God for our next journey in Oakland because thedrive to Vallejo and Richmond is hard on the childrenespecially during the week. We will return to Greater St.Paul in the coming weeks as we ask God about a newchurch home. I will say that we have felt welcomed andwitnessed the Holy Spirit dwelling in Greater St. Paul.”– The Kimate (Kay) & Erika Richards Family
