Through his artwork he is trying to say that it is okay for an artists to do what makes them feel comfortable. Something so little could mean so much due to the color, shapes, value, and lines used. "An artist needs the best studio instruction, the most rigorous demands, and the toughest criticism in order to tune up his sensibilities.“ says Thiebaud. He took closer looks of everyday objects and began to sketch out the image and start painting. Landscapes artwork he became inspired by California exterior and cities views. Wayne Thiebaud…….After Researching

After researching him I believe that he uses his memory for most of his paintings. He doesn’t really care about what people think of his art and use his life as inspiration when it comes to drawing landscapes, food, and human figures. “The figures… are not supposed to reveal anything… It's like seeing a stranger in some place like an air terminal for the first time. You look at him, you notice his shoes, his suit, the pin in his lapel, but you don't have any particular feeling about him." says Wayne Thiebaud. He artworks reflects his childhood or life while becoming a painter. He uses colors that complements each other, and his artwork shows good composition.
