utilities like children play area, landscapes, car parks, jogging tracks,

swimming pools etc and are subject to continuous high movement.

Quintessential considerations like drainage, continuity at expansion joints,

and landscaping have to be accounted for during waterproofing.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Clean the surface thoroughly to get rid of all contaminants. Remove all

surface imperfections and repair with a polymer modified mortar using

Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP.

APPLICATION

1. Spray Dr. Fixit Extensa to achieve a minimum thickness of 1.5 mm.

2. Peel off the release film from the Dr. Fixit Samshield PS 3500

self-adhesive side and start unrolling the membrane while pressing it

to the cured Dr. Fixit Extensa surface.

3. Smoothen the membrane from the centre to the edges with a wooden

press in order to remove entrapped air.

4. Provide a 50 mm selvedge on one side of the membrane to give a

bitumen-to-bitumen contact on the overlaps.

5. Lay the concrete screed M20 grade modified with Dr. Fixit Pidiproof

LW+ with a 1:100 slope.

6. Place a drainage board as specified over the concrete screed.

7. Place soil for vegetation.
