Catchment Scale IWM Plan -Overview
Working Groups identified the need for a catchment scale IWM plan to support the transition to an integrated practice.
What is a catchment plan? Catchment and sub-catchment scale assessment against the seven strategic
outcomes, using both qualitative and quantitative measures.
Develop a baseline narrative of the catchment condition (current and future scenarios under BAU).
Identify issues, threats and opportunities, at multiple scales.
Potential implications? Comprehensively understand the overall health of the catchment against the
seven strategic outcomes.
Support the Forum to create a shift in practice (i.e. More robust business cases for what projects progress; mechanisms for shared funding; planning overlays)
