The OceanThe salty ocean contains
97% of Earth’s water - 3% fresh water which comes from glaciers,
groundwater, and rivers

The Land Evaporated water becomes
part of a thundercloud which turns into rain, hail, or snow. A portion of the rain water seeps into the
ground - the rest flows back into rivers, streams, and
oceans.

The Atmosphere
Water leaves the ocean and becomes part of the atmosphere by being
transformed from a liquid state to a gaseous state - this process is called
evaporation. The atmosphere holds 25 million
pounds of water!!!!
