Warranty Statement of SATJAM Warranty Plus Valid from 1 April 2012

SATJAM, s.r.o. (hereinafter referred to as “manufacturer”) hereby declares the provision of a warranty, further identifi ed as SATJAM Warranty Plus, for the products specifi ed below, provided that the following conditions are met and only in the extent given below. SATJAM Warranty Plus is a warranty provided to all end users – consumers (referred to as “customer” or “user”), regardless of whether users purchased these products directly from the manufacturer or from another person. SATJAM Warranty Plus is provided in addition to any other statutory or contractual guarantees and does not affect the content or duration of the liability for damages stemming from these additional guarantees. SATJAM Warranty Plus is not provided for products which are the subject of an individual contractual warranty negotiated between SATJAM, s.r.o., and the purchaser.SATJAM Warranty Plus is a customer benefi t which extends the claims of users of roofi ng, gutter systems and corrugated sheet metal beyond the statutory 2-year warranty, in the period specifi ed in the table below, and only provided that the following conditions are met. Under this warranty statement, the customer acquires only the entitlement covered by this document. This warranty is provided with a protective element (embossed) and the warranty is not valid without this protective element.SATJAM Warranty Plus applies only to the following products, made of sheet metal with a thickness of 0.5 mm or more, zinc-plated with an additional organic coating with a minimum thickness of 25 μm or galvanized aluzinc. When using products covered by SATJAM Warranty Plus on roofs with a radiant up to 15°, the warranty period in this warranty is reduced by half. SATJAM Warranty Plus does not apply to products designated Economic or other products of SATJAM s.r.o., not listed below.

The service life of the product means that no water seeps through the product in that period because of defects in materials.

The durability of the coating means that the coating does not become separated from the plate during that period, with the exception of minor circumstances on cut edges; no cracks and fi ssures or other defects in the coating will appear, nor any uneven change in the color with a Δ E deviation greater than 5, under the same conditions of the atmospheric effects over the entire surface of the product.

User claims based on SATJAM Warranty Plus:The manufacturer has the exclusive right to choose how to resolve the complaint, by: repairing the defect, replacing defective parts, fi nancial compensation in an amount

commensurate to the scale and seriousness of the defects in question.

The manufacturer’s decision on how to resolvethe claim is binding for the customer.

If the manufacturer fails to repair defects or replace defective parts, the user is entitled to fi nancial compensation, the amount of which will be set at a level commensurate with the scale and seriousness of the defects in question; fi nancial compensation due to defects in a product for properly claimed defective products applied by virtue of service life is limited to a maximum amount equal to the cost of the products on the invoice, less the annual amortization factor (according to the number of years the product has been in use) of 2% per year for products coated with satpur/purmat 50 μm, Colorcoat HPS 200 Ultra®, roofi ng with mineral grit, and 3% per year for products coated with polyestersat 25 μm, satmat 35 μm and aluzinc. For fi nancial compensation due to defects in the product applied by virtue of the durability of the coating, the fi nancial compensation is limited to a maximum amount equal to the cost of the products on the invoice, less the annual amortization factor (according to the number of years the product has been in use) of 5% per year for products coated with satpur/purmat 50 μm, Colorcoat HPS 200 Ultra®, roofi ng with mineral grit, and 8% per year for products coated with polyestersat 25 μm, satmat 35 μm and aluzinc.

SATJAM Warranty PlusSATJAM Warranty Plus begins on the day you register your warranty at www.satjam.cz/warranty; in order to apply a claim under SATJAM Warranty Plus, the condition of registering this warranty at www.satjam.cz/warranty must be met, or the duly completed registration certifi cate received at the headquarters of Satjam not later than 6 months from the date of manufacture of the product, which is given below; otherwise claims based on SATJAM Warranty Plus will expire.The appropriate general provisions of the Civil Code relating to claims of liability for defects in a sold product apply for making a claim based on SATJAM Warranty Plus and the extent of claims in the case of manufacturer liability for a defect in accordance with this warranty statement, unless the warranty list states otherwise; the user must meet the conditions given below in order to apply for claims based on SATJAM Warranty Plus. Product defect and applying a claim based on SATJAM Warranty Plus must be exercised directly at the manufacturer for the duration of the warranty period stipulated by SATJAM Warranty Plus.Products must be transported, stored, installed, used and maintained only in accordance with the instructions and recommendations of the manufacturer. These are available in the assembly instructions and in the conditions for transport, storage and handling, available at business centers of SATJAM, s.r.o., at business partners of SATJAM, s.r.o., and at www.satjam.cz.

Products must be used only in an environment where the degree of corrosive aggressiveness corresponds to the possible use of products in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommendations, i.e. without the effects of aggressive industrial pollution, fumes from noxious gases, compounds of chlorine, nitrogen and sulfur, salts and other aggressive chemicals and gases. The manufacturer is not liable for the application and use of products in an environment other than one recommended by the manufacturer, unless the manufacturer decides otherwise based on an individual assessment.SATJAM Warranty Plus does not cover mechanical damage and defects caused by abnormal weather conditions or phenomena (earthquakes, fi res, fl oods, hailstorms, windstorms, etc.), vandalism or other cases of force majeure.The liability of the manufacturer does not cover corrosion of the product on its bottom side and defects in the bottom coating – protective varnish.Claims must be applied for defective products without undue delay after they are discovered, or after such period when they could have been discovered. The installation of products may not continue if defects are discovered prior to installation. Claims must be received in writing, together with a copy of the invoice (proof of payment) and a copy of this document or with the number of the order (see below). The claimant must allow the manufacturer to check the claimed defects and provide any necessary assistance.
