MODULAR FURNITURE Wood products are heavier than they appear and may be hard to control when moving. Use two or more people when moving wood products or severe personal injury may result. Read all instructions and review illustrations before installing. Tools required for assembly: Phillips screwdriver Rubber mallet Drawer Removal: 1. Lateral drawer removal (refer to Illustration 1): Completely open drawer. On each drawer slide, locate screw next to drawer retai- ning tab. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove screws. On each side of drawer, press in on drawer retaining tabs and lift up on drawer front. Set drawer aside. 2. Box drawer removal (refer to Illustration 2): Completely open drawer. On each side of drawer, press in on drawer retaining tabs and slide drawer forward. Set drawer aside. 3. File drawer removal (refer to Illustration 2): Completely open drawer. On each side of drawer, press in on drawer retaining tabs and slide drawer forward. Set drawer aside. End Panel to Top Assembly: 1. Read all instructions and review illustrations before installing.

Tools required for assembly: Phillips screwdriver Rubber mallet

Drawer Removal:

1. Lateral drawer removal (refer to Illustration 1):

Completely open drawer.

On each drawer slide, locate screw next to drawer retai-ning tab. Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove screws.

On each side of drawer, press in on drawer retaining tabs and lift up on drawer front. Set drawer aside.

2. Box drawer removal (refer to Illustration 2):

Completely open drawer.

On each side of drawer, press in on drawer retaining tabs and slide drawer forward. Set drawer aside.

3. File drawer removal (refer to Illustration 2):

Completely open drawer.

On each side of drawer, press in on drawer retaining tabs and slide drawer forward. Set drawer aside.

End Panel to Top Assembly:1. Refer to Illustration 3.Lay top,with holes up,on cardboard or a carpeted surface.

Use the Phillips screwdriver to install three minifix bolts (from hardware pack) onto top as shown. Tighten each minifix bolt until minifix bolt shoulder is flat against surface of top.

Use the rubber mallet to install two dowels ( from hard-ware pack) into large holes inline with minifix bolts.

2. Refer to Illustration 4. Attach end panel to top by inserting minifix bolts, attached to top, into holes drilled into top edge of end panel.

Ensure minifix cam holes along top edge of end panel are facing towards top.

Heavy panels can pinch or crush fingers. Do not placefingers between or under panels during assembly.

Refer to Illustration 6. Thread a glide (from hardware pack) into each glide insert (from hardware pack) by turning glide clockwise until glide is flat against insert.

Locate holes in bottom of end panel. Install a glide/glide insert into each hole along bottom edge of end panel. Use the rubber mallet to install a glide/glide insert assembly into hole.

3. Refer to Illustration 5. With arrows facing top, install three minifix cams (from hardware pack) into holes along top edge of end panel. Note: minifix cams will be recessed into panel approximately 1/4”. Use the Phillips screwdriver to tighten minifix cams. Turn minifix cams clockwise to tighten.

Pedestal to Top Assembly:1.

Refer to Illustration 7. Lay top,with holes up,on cardboard or a carpeted surface.

Attach lateral file/door unit to top by inserting minifix bolts, attached to top, into holes drilled into top edge of lateral file/door unit.

3. Refer to Illustration 17. With arrows facing top, install six minifix cams (from hardware pack) into holes along top edge of each file center vertical panel.

Use the Phillips screwdriver to tighten minifix cams. Turn minifix cams clockwise to tighten.

4. Refer to Illustration 18. On top cross member, use the Phillips screwdriver to install four wood screws through holes in cross member and into top. Fully tighten screws.

Thread a glide (from hardware pack) into each glide insert (from hardware pack) by turning glide clockwise until glide is flat against insert.

Locate holes in bottom of file center. Install a glide/glide insert into each hole along bottom edge of file center. Use the rubber mallet to install a glide/glide insert assembly into hole.

Modesty Panel to End Panel and Top Assembly:1. Refer to Illustration 19. Lay modesty panel, with holes

up, on cardboard or a carpeted surface.

On side being attached to end panel, use the Phillips screwdriver to install two minifix bolts (from hardware pack) onto modesty panel. Tighten each minifix bolt until minifix bolt shoulder is flat against surface of mod-esty panel.

Use the rubber mallet to install two dowels (from hard-ware pack) into large holes inline with minifix bolts.

2. Refer to Illustration 20. Lay top, with holes up, on card-board or a carpeted surface.

Use the Phillips screwdriver to install three rafix bolts (from hardware pack) onto top as shown. Tighten each rafix bolt until rafix bolt shoulder is flat against surface of top.

Refer to End Panel to Top Assembly instructions and attach end panel to top.

Refer to Illustration 21. Once end panel is attached to top (refer to end panel to top assembly) attach modesty panel to end panel by inserting minifix bolts, attached to modesty panel, into holes drilled into rear edge of end panel.

Refer to Illustration 22. With arrows facing modesty panel, install two minifix cams (from hardware pack) into holes along rear edge of each end panel. Use the Phillips screwdriver to tighten minifix cams. Turn minifix cams clockwise to tighten. Once modesty panel is attached to end panel, attach modesty panel to top. Use the Phillips screwdriver to tighten rafix cams. Turn rafix cams clockwise to tighten.

Modesty Panel to Pedestal and Top Assembly:1.

Refer to Illustration 23. Lay modesty panel, with holes up, on cardboard or a carpeted surface.

On opposite side of pedestal, use the Phillips screw-driver to install wood screws through holes in rear of pedestal and into modesty panel. Fully tighten screws.

Once modesty panel is attached to pedestal, attach modesty panel to top. Use the Phillips screwdriver to tighten rafix cams. Turn rafix cams clockwise to tighten.

panel are attached to top at each end location (refer to the appropriate assembly instructions to install an end panel, pedestal, lateral file/door unit, or file center to top and attach modesty panel) attach desired cabinet to top at the desired location (refer to appropriate assembly instructions to attach cabinet to top).

2. Use the Phillips screwdriver to install wood screws through holes in rear of modular cabinet and into mod-esty panel. Fully tighten screws.

3. Refer to Illustation 35. With arrows facing pedestal back, install two minifix cams (from hardware pack) into holes along rear edge of each end panel. Use the Phillips screwdriver to tighten minifix cams. Turn mini-fix cams clockwise to tighten.
