Answer

• The study of the earth and everything in it. The study of the physical features of the earth and its atmosphere, and of human activity as it affects and is affected by these, including the distribution of populations and resources, land use, and industries.

• Topographic Map: A topographic map shows different physical landscape featuresthey use contour lines instead of colors to show changes in the landscape. – spaced at regular intervals to show elevation

changes (e.g. each line represents a 100 foot (30 m) elevation change) and when lines are close together the terrain is steep.
