San Jose is located in the central part of the fertile Central Valley. The hills of Escazú (Southwest), volcán Barva (North) and Irazú volcano (East) surround the Valley.

La Avenida Central

Parte de esta avenida es una zona peatonal. Hay muchas tiendas, una librería, un almacén, restaurantes y boutiques donde mucha gente va de compra.

Itinerary Costa Rica• You are the organizer of a business trip to Costa Rica. You are

responsible for organizing the cultural/fun aspect of the trip. • You will plan a 3 day trip. • 1 day you must plan activities in San Jose. Minimum of 2

places or activities. • The other 2 days you choose where in the country you want to

take people. • What are the things you are going to do. You need to include

transportation and cost for each activity. Obviously this is a BYOD assignment.

• We will present each to the class and the class will vote on the best. Winner gets a free 100 on a quiz or homework grade. (Costa Rica quiz next week)

• Using pages 160-163 you will create a pamphlet about Costa Rica.

• Pick 6 places/locations to talk about. (These are the blue captions)

• Write the location in Spanish, and summarize the location in English. Does not have to be word for word. Just explain the key points. Cant just be a few words.

• Each location should come with a drawing. Do your best and be creative.

• On the front of the pamphlet write Costa Rica and draw the flag. If you don’t color your pictures you get a 50!
