Total population based on census 2011 in ward 91 is 41 048 i.e. 6 percent of the total population in Region 6. The figure above indicates the total population in Ward 91 disaggregated by racial groups. It can be noted from the figure that 64.2 percent of the population in the ward are whites, 29.8 percent are black Africans, the coloured, Asian and Indian population consume only 6 percent of the population in the ward.

The figure above indicates the total population in Ward 91 disaggregated by age group, it can be noted from the figure that that ward has the largest population of 35 – 64 year olds, recorded at 37.5 percent, 20.7 percent of the population is younger than 15 years, 13.2 percent is between 15 – 24 years, 22.8 percent is between the ages 25 – 34 years and only 5.8 percent is older than 64 years, proving to be the least populated group in the ward.

Population in the ward 91 seems to have a high percentage of individuals with schooling levels meeting and exceeding the functional literacy defined criteria (i.e. completed primary education), the total percentage is at 85.1 percent. Based on the figure, only 2.3 percent of the population in ward 91 have no schooling, 12.7 percent have some primary, 2.5 percent have completed primary, 15.3 percent have some secondary, 22.5 percent have matric and 43.7 percent have post matric qualifications.
