BRIEF OVERVIEW Ward 66 is based in region 4 which occupies 489 km2 of the land area in Tshwane, total population in the ward is approximately 23 487 and the total number of households are 6,737. below is a graphical representation of the spatial form of the ward.

The figure above indicates the total population in Ward 66 disaggregated by age group, it can be noted from the figure that that ward 66 has the largest population of 35 – 64 year olds, recorded at 42 percent, 17,2 percent of the population is between the ages 25 -34 years, 16,4 percent is younger than 15 years, 16,4 percent is between 15 – 24 years, and 8,1 percent is 65 years or older, proving to be the least populated group in the ward.
