Want to watch kittens do adorable things all day? Now you can with Macomb County’s ‘Kitty Cam’ By Syma Chowdhry • May 10, 2019 MACOMB COUNTY (WXYZ) — Macomb County Animal Control is making their cats and kittens the stars of a live web stream. The “kitty cam” debuted earlier this week and it’s getting a lot of attention. You can bookmark a link to the live, 24/7 video feed to get a personal peek, if you are thinking about bringing a furry friend home. “They’re going to tune in,” said Jeff Randazzo, chief of Macomb County Animal Control. “They are going to see which one of the cats really meets their personality that they like.” The donated EarthCam is opening new opportunities. “The first one in the state of Michigan that would really showcase animals inside an animal control facility,” Randazzo said. It launched only a few days ago but has been racking up the views. People from all over are tuning in at all hours. “People were like, ‘something is wrong with the camera,’” Randazzo said. “There wasn’t, it was just night time and we shut the lights off. Now we dim them up just a pinch.” Chief Jeff Randazzo hopes all this attention will bring awareness to the issues for homeless animals and the importance of spaying and neutering pets. It is a sure fire way to find homes for the kitties. MACOMB COUNTY (WXYZ) — Macomb County Animal Control is making their cats and kittens the stars of a live web stream.

“They are going to see which one of the cats really meets their personality that they like.”

The donated EarthCam is opening new opportunities.

Now we dim them up just a pinch.”

Chief Jeff Randazzo hopes all this attention will bring awareness to the issues for homeless animals and the importance of spaying and neutering pets.

It is a sure fire way to find homes for the kitties.
