Come join us for an intimate night of jazz at the W. H. Shipley Recital Hall in the Frank Arts Center on Thursday, November 9 at 8:00 PM, with Shepherd University Jazz Combos, under the direction of Kevin Pace. The concert will feature works by Bill Evans, Steve Swallow, Herbie Hancock, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane and Sigmund Romberg. Admission is FREE and open to the public. Performing Waltz for Debbie by Bill Evans, Falling Grace by Steve Swallow, and Dolphin Dance by Herbie Hancock, will be Kayla Starr on vibraphone, Heidi Macaluso on piano, Kevin Pace on bass, and Ismael Salgado on drums. Yardbird Suite by Charlie Parker, Central Park West by John Coltrane, Softly as in a Morning Sunrise by Sigmund Romberg, will be played by Chase Remsburg and Jackson Sharpe on saxophone, Anthony Stoika on vibraphone/drums, Mary Granofsky on piano, Kevin Pace on bass, and Sawyer Gaydon on drums.
