THE MISSION STATEMENT OF ST. LOUIS PARISH
We, the parishioners of St. Louis Catholic Church, serve the communities of Louisville,
East Canton, and the surrounding areas. As the People of God rooted in scripture and
tradition, we continue the vision of our French immigrant founders of 1838.
Guided by the Holy Spirit we are called to be both sign and instrument of God’s Word.
Nourished by the sacraments, we give witness to the life, death and resurrection of Jesus the
Christ. As a Catholic Christian Community, we are committed to a full liturgical life, hospitality,
Christian education, evangelization, social outreach, and peace and justice.

TWENTY-SEVENTH SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME OCTOBER 6, 2019
NOVEMBER 4TH
Stewardship Thought
“For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice but rather of power and love and self
control.” (2Timothy 1:7)
Many of us compartmentalize our Faith, we bring it out only
when we aend Mass or when we aend a parish event. Being a
good steward requires discipline and striving to put God first in
everything, all the !me. The next !me you are at a neighborhood
party, at work or out shopping, would your ac!ons signal to
others that you are a good and faithful servant of our Lord?
“If today you hear his voice,
harden not your hearts.”
When God speaks, are you
listening? Will you let the
Holy Spirit guide you
beyond your hesitation and
follow Christ as a priest,
deacon or in the consecrated life?
Call Fr. Christopher Luoni at 330-744-8451,
or by email at: [email protected].

OF THE WEEK
Married couple weekend

Do you wish you could talk to your spouse with a
deeper level of listening and understanding? In this
busy day and age, there is a tendency for couples to
lose touch with each other. Husbands and/or wives
can get to the point where they don't think they
understand their spouse very well, or that their spouse
doesn’t understand them. This shortage of
understanding leaves spouses feeling isolated and
alone, vulnerable and anxious. On Worldwide
Marriage Encounter weekends, couples hear
presentations, do exercises and reflections that help
them to understand both themselves and their spouse
better. A Fall Weekend it Is scheduled for Oct 11-13 in
Solon at the Homewood Suites Hotel and space is
limited. Call 330 305 9963 or visit
GreatMarriagesOhio.org to learn more.
