By supplying the required identification and directional signage, Seaward Safety can ensure that our clients remain compliant to regulations. We have over 20 years experience manufacturing signage and have exceptional technical knowledge regarding regulatory viewing distances, photoluminescent requirements, font sizes and the inherited environmental conditions surrounding/involving proposed platform interface locations. The most commonly supplied signage for this type of project include (but is not limited to): • Boat landing identification areas. These are required to be clearly identified from a 30m viewing distance by the vessel Captain, in any given prevailing weather conditions. • Personnel disembarkation between the platform to the boat landing areas and the W2W transfer bridge. These must be identifiable in both normal and emergency situations and should encompass the necessary directional signage for escape routes to the Main Muster / TR areas. • All directional signage to assist personnel returning to the vessel. Key Benefits:

• Our photoluminescent material is a very low cost, minimal maintenance alternative to any electrical signage system. It self-charges with any ambient lighting, whether natural or artificial.

• During testing, after 60 minutes of all illuminating sources being removed, Seaward Safety’s photoluminescent material exceeds the minimum luminance requirement (as per regulations set out in ISO 15370) by almost quintuple the minimum value.

• All Seaward Safety signage is guaranteed for 7 years.

• We can advise and supply any suitable cold mechanical fittings and fixtures to secure our signage in any given location, without the need of any structural hot work.

• A physical, on-site survey service is available, to ascertain the necessary signage required for each installation.

• We also offer a comprehensive installation service for each of our project solutions.

Additional Information:

Our fully certified Installation Technicians can conduct an installation in shipyards, quayside,offshore, whilst being towed or during full operation mode on station.

Seaward Safety also offers a testing service for any existing photoluminescent signage. Weadvise whether your luminance readings meet legal requirements and can consult on furthersteps should your luminance levels not meet the legally required ratings.
