Precinct 20-06 in the Apex area was divided to create precincts 20-06 and 20-07. Voters in the new precinct 20-07

will vote at the Olive Chapel Elementary School. Voters remaining in precinct 20-06 will continue to vote at Apex

First Baptist Church. Voter cards were mailed to affected voters on March 20, 2000.

The name has been changed for the polling place for precinct 08-01 from Durham Hwy Vol. Fire Dept. to Raleigh

Fire Station # 23. The location is the same. New voter cards reflecting the new name were mailed to voters on

March 20, 2000.

17-08 will vote at the Hodge Road Elementary School. Voters remaining in precinct 17-02 will continue to vote at

A new polling place was established for precinct 01-28 in Raleigh (formerly Enloe High School). The new polling

place is Powell Elementary School. Voters in the precinct will be notified by new voter cards to be mailed March

Leesville Road Elementary School. The voting location will remain the same. New voter cards reflecting the name

A new polling place was established for precinct 18-02 in the Swift Creek Township area. An emergency

resolution was passed by the Board of Elections due to construction in progress at the previous polling place,

Fairview Rural Fire Department. Voters will be notified by mail early in May of the new polling place, Fairview

Community Club.

A new polling place was established for precinct 18-03 in the Cary/Swift Creek Township area (previously Swift

Creek Fire Department). Voters were notified by mail in April of the new polling place, Piney Plains Christian

Church.

reassigned to the new precinct 20-06 were notified by mail in March of their new polling place, Apex First Baptist

Church. Unchanged voters remaining in precinct 20-02 will continue to vote at Green Level Baptist Church and

required no notification.
