HUD ANNOUNCES FUNDING FOR HOUSING PROGRAMS◦ Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) –99.54% Proration◦ VASH – 30 Additional Vouchers (tentative)

◦ In 2017 the funds proration was97% for HCV

Goals and Challenges HUD high performance goals are to expend

98% of all housing assistance payment (HAP) funds by year end.

To reach this goal we must lease approximately 400 HCV vouchers by year end.

To reach the 400 goal we must issue approximately 1,200 vouchers. The success rate is 30% historically.
