durchgefhrt werden. Durch unsachgeme Reparaturen knnen erhebliche Gefahren entstehen.

Personen (einschlielich Kinder), die aufgrund ihrer physi-schen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fhigkeiten oder ihrer Unerfahrenheit oder Unkenntnis nicht in der Lage sind, das Gert sicher zu benutzen, sollten dieses Gert nicht ohne Auf-sicht oder Anweisung durch eine verantwortliche Person nutzen.

Elektrogerte sind kein Kinderspielzeug!Verwahren und benutzen Sie das Gert auerhalb der Reich-weite von Kindern.

Wenn das Anschlusskabel dieses Gertes beschdigt wird, muss es durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine hnlich qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefhrdungen zu vermeiden.

Das Khlgert ist nicht geeignet fr den Transport tzender oder lsungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe.

Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steck-dose.

Wenn das Khlgert an der DC-Steckdose angeschlossen ist: Klemmen Sie Ihr Khlgert und andere Verbraucher von der Batterie ab, bevor Sie ein Schnellladegert anschlieen.

Wenn das Khlgert an der DC-Steckdose angeschlossen ist: Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie das Khlgert aus, wenn Sie den Motor ausschalten. Sonst kann die Batterie entladen werden.

2.2 Sicherheit beim Betrieb des Gertes

DGEFAHR! Fassen Sie nie mit bloen Hnden an blanke Leitungen. Dies

gilt vor allem beim Betrieb am Wechselstromnetz.

!VORSICHT! Achten Sie vor der Inbetriebnahme darauf, dass Zuleitung und

Stecker trocken sind.

AACHTUNG! Benutzen Sie keine elektrischen Gerte innerhalb des Khl-

gertes, auer wenn diese Gerte vom Hersteller dafr emp-fohlen werden.

Stellen Sie das Gert nicht in der Nhe von offenen Flammen oder anderen Wrmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonnen-einstrahlung, Gasfen usw.) ab.

4 Bestimmungsgemer GebrauchDie Khlbox eignet sich zum Khlen und Tiefkhlen von Lebens-mitteln. Das Gert ist auch fr den Betrieb auf Booten geeignet.

Das Gert ist fr den Betrieb an einer 12-Vg- oder 24-Vg-Batterie eines Fahrzeugs, Boots oder Wohnmobils sowie an einem 100240-Vw-Wechselstromnetz ausgelegt.

5 FunktionsbeschreibungDie Khlbox kann Waren abkhlen und khl halten sowie tief-khlen. Die Khlung erfolgt durch einen wartungsfreien Khlkreis-lauf mit Kompressor. Die extrastarke Isolierung und der leistungsstarke Kompressor gewhrleisten eine besonders schnel-le Khlung.Die Khlbox ist fr den mobilen Einsatz geeignet und kann mit zwei (ab)montierbaren Tragegriffen getragen werden. Beim Einsatz auf Booten kann die Khlbox einer Dauerkrngung von 30 ausgesetzt werden.

6 Bedienung

6.1 Vor dem ersten Gebrauch

IHINWEIS Bevor Sie die neue Khlbox in Betrieb nehmen, sollten Sie sie aus hygienischen Grnden innen und auen mit einem feuchten Tuch reinigen (siehe auch Reinigung und Pflege auf Seite 21).

Die Griffe liegen lose bei. Falls Sie die Griffe montieren wollen, gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Stecken Sie jeweils zwei Halter (Abb.4 1, Seite 4) und ein

Griffstck (Abb.4 2, Seite 4) zu einem Griff zusammen. Befestigen Sie den Griff mit den beiliegenden Schrauben in den

vorgesehenen Bohrungen.

Temperatureinheit whlenSie knnen zur Temperaturanzeige zwischen den Werten fr Celsius und Fahrenheit whlen. Gehen Sie hierzu wie folgt vor: Schalten Sie die Khlbox ein. Drcken Sie den Taster SET (Abb.2 4, Seite 3) zweimal. Stellen Sie mit den Tastern UP + (Abb.2 6, Seite 3) bzw.

DOWN - (Abb.2 7, Seite 3), die Temperatureinheit Celsius oder Fahrenheit ein.

Das Display zeigt fr einige Sekunden die eingestellte Tempe-ratureinheit an. Das Display blinkt einige Male, bevor es zur Darstellung der aktuellen Temperatur zurckkehrt.

Deckelanschlag umdrehenSie knnen den Deckelanschlag umdrehen, falls Sie den Deckel zur anderen Seite ffnen mchten.Gehen Sie hierzu wie folgt vor: Lsen die die Schrauben der Verschlusslaschen (Abb.5 1,

Seite 4) und nehmen Sie diese ab. Lsen Sie Schrauben der Scharniere (Abb.5 2, Seite 4) und

nehmen Sie diese ab. Lassen Sie den Deckel liegen. Montieren Sie die Scharniere auf der gewnschten Seite. Montieren Sie die Verschlusslaschen auf der gewnschten

Seite.

6.2 Tipps zum Energiesparen Whlen Sie einen gut belfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen ge-

schtzten Einsatzort. Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkhlen, bevor Sie sie im

Gert khl halten. ffnen Sie das Khlgert nicht hufiger als ntig. Lassen Sie das Khlgert nicht lnger offen als ntig. Tauen Sie das Khlgert ab, sobald sich eine Eisschicht gebil-

det hat. Vermeiden Sie eine unntig tiefe Innentemperatur.

6.3 Khlbox anschlieen

An eine Batterie anschlieen (Fahrzeug oder Boot)Die Khlbox kann mit 12 V oder 24 V Gleichspannung betrieben werden.

AACHTUNG! Gefahr von Gerteschden!Klemmen Sie die Khlbox und andere Verbraucher von der Batte-rie ab, bevor Sie die Batterie mit einem Schnellladegert aufladen.berspannungen knnen die Elektronik der Gerte beschdigen.

Zur Sicherheit ist die Khlbox mit einem elektronischen Verpol-ungsschutz ausgestattet, der die Khlbox gegen Verpolung beim Batterieanschluss und gegen Kurzschluss schtzt.

AACHTUNG! Gefahr von Gerteschden!Um Spannungs- und Leistungsverluste zu vermeiden, sollte das Kabel mglichst kurz und nicht unterbrochen sein.Vermeiden Sie deshalb zustzliche Schalter, Stecker oder Verteilerdosen.

Bestimmen Sie den notwendigen Querschnitt des Kabels in Abhngigkeit von der Kabellnge gem Abb.6, Seite 5.Legende zu Abb.6, Seite 5

AACHTUNG! Gefahr von Gerteschden!Beachten Sie die richtige Polaritt.

Kontrollieren Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des Gertes, ob die Betriebsspannung und die Batteriespannung bereinstimmen (siehe Typenschild).

Stellen Sie sicher, dass das Kabel am Pluspol der Batterie (Abb.7 2, Seite 5) mit einer 15-A-Sicherung (Abb.7 3, Seite 5) abgesichert ist.

Stecken Sie das 12/24-V-Anschlusskabel (Abb.1 2, Seite 3) in die Gleichspannungs-Buchse der Khlbox (Abb.7 1, Seite 5).

Verbinden Sie das rote Kabel (Abb.7 rt, Seite 5) mit dem Pluspol der Batterie (Abb.7 2, Seite 5).

Verbinden Sie das schwarze Kabel (Abb.7 sw, Seite 5) mit dem Minuspol der Batterie (Abb.7 2, Seite 5).

An ein 100240-V-Wechselstromnetz anschlieen (z. B. zu Hause oder im Bro)

DGEFAHR! Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag! Hantieren Sie nie mit Steckern und Schaltern, wenn Sie nasse

Hnde haben oder mit den Fen in der Nsse stehen. Wenn Sie Ihre Khlbox an Bord eines Bootes per Landan-

schluss am 100240-V-Wechselstromnetz betreiben, mssen Sie auf jeden Fall einen FI-Schutzschalter zwischen 100240-V-Wechselstromnetz und Khlbox schalten.Lassen Sie sich von einem Fachmann beraten.

Die Khlbox hat ein integriertes Multispannungsnetzteil mit Vor-rangschaltung zum Anschluss an eine Wechselspannung von 100240 V. Durch die Vorrangschaltung wird automatisch auf Netzbetrieb umgeschaltet, wenn das Gert an ein 100240-V-Wechselstromnetz angeschlossen ist, auch wenn das 12/24-V-Anschlusskabel noch angeschlossen ist.Beim Umschalten zwischen Wechselstromnetz und Batterie-versorgung kann fr einige Minuten die rote LED leuchten. Stecken Sie das 100240-V-Anschlusskabel (Abb.1 3,

Seite 3) in die Wechselspannungs-Buchse und schlieen Sie es an das 100240-V-Wechselstromnetz an.

6.4 Batteriewchter verwendenDas Gert ist mit einem mehrstufigen Batteriewchter ausgestat-tet, der Ihre Fahrzeugbatterie beim Anschluss an das 12/24-V-Bordnetz vor zu tiefer Entladung schtzt. Wird die Khlbox bei ausgeschalteter Zndung im Fahrzeug betrie-ben, schaltet sich die Box selbststndig ab, sobald die Versor-gungsspannung unter einen einstellbaren Wert abfllt. Die Khlbox schaltet sich wieder ein, sobald durch Aufladung der Batterie die Wiedereinschaltspannung erreicht wird.

AACHTUNG! Beschdigungsgefahr!Die Batterie besitzt beim Abschalten durch den Batteriewchter nicht mehr ihre volle Ladekapazitt, vermeiden Sie mehrmaliges Starten oder den Betrieb von Stromverbrauchern ohne lngere Aufladephasen. Sorgen Sie dafr, dass die Batterie wieder auf-geladen wird.

Im Modus HIGH spricht der Batteriewchter schneller an als in den Stufen LOW und MED (siehe folgende Tabelle).

Um den Modus fr den Batteriewchter zu ndern gehen Sie wie folgt vor: Schalten Sie die Khlbox ein. Drcken Sie den Taster SET (Abb.2 4, Seite 3) dreimal. Stellen Sie mit den Tastern UP + (Abb.2 6, Seite 3) bzw.

DOWN - (Abb.2 7, Seite 3), den Modus fr den Batterie-wchter ein.

Das Display zeigt fr einige Sekunden den eingestellten Modus an. Das Display blinkt einige Male, bevor es zur Darstellung der aktuellen Temperatur zurckkehrt.

IHINWEIS Wenn die Khlbox von der Starterbatterie versorgt wird, whlen Sie den Batteriewchter-Modus HIGH. Wenn die Khlbox an eine Versorgungsbatterie angeschlossen ist, reicht der Batteriewchter-Modus LOW aus.Wenn Sie die Khlbox am Wechselstromnetz betreiben wollen, stellen Sie den Batteriewchter auf LOW.

aktuelle Khltemperatur.

IHINWEIS Die angezeigte Temperatur bezieht sich auf die Mitte des Innen-raums. Die Temperatur an anderen Stellen kann davon abweichen.

Die Khlbox startet mit dem Khlen des Innenraums.

6.7 Khlbox ausschalten Rumen Sie die Khlbox leer. Schalten Sie die Khlbox aus. Ziehen Sie das Anschlusskabel ab.

Wenn Sie die Khlbox fr lngere Zeit nicht benutzen wollen: Lassen Sie den Deckel leicht geffnet. So verhindern Sie, dass

sich Gerche bilden.

6.8 Khlbox abtauenLuftfeuchtigkeit kann sich am Verdampfer oder im Innenraum der Khlbox als Reif niederschlagen, der die Khlleistung verringert. Tauen Sie das Gert rechtzeitig ab.

!WARNUNG! Lebensgefahr durch Stromschlag!Ziehen Sie vor dem Austauschen der Gertesicherung die Anschlusskabel ab.

Ziehen Sie die Anschlusskabel ab. Hebeln Sie den Sicherungseinsatz (Abb.3 2, Seite 3) z. B. mit

einem Schraubendreher heraus. Tauschen Sie die defekte Sicherung gegen eine neue Siche-

rung mit demselben Wert (T2,5AL 250V) aus. Drcken Sie den Sicherungseinsatz wieder in das Gehuse.

6.10 Leuchtkrper wechseln Drcken Sie den Schaltpin (Abb.8 2, Seite 5) nach unten,

sodass sich das transparente Teil (Abb.8 1, Seite 5) der Leuchte nach vorne abnehmen lsst.

Tauschen Sie den Leuchtkrper aus.

IHINWEIS Die LEDs im Leuchtkrper mssen zum transparenten Teil der Leuchte ausgerichtet sein.

2.2 Operating the device safely

DDANGER! Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This

especially applies when operating the device with an AC mains power supply.

and the plug are dry.

ANOTICE! Do not use electrical devices inside the cooler unless they are

recommended by the manufacturer for the purpose. Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat

6.1 Before initial use

INOTE Before starting your new cooler for the first time, you should clean it inside and outside with a damp cloth for hygienic reasons (please also refer to the Cleaning and maintenance on page 37).

The handles are enclosed unassembled. If you wish to attach the handles, proceed as follows: Make a handle by putting two holders (fig.4 1, page 4) and a

handle (fig.4 2, page 4) together. Fasten the grip with the enclosed screws in the holes provided.

Selecting the temperature unitsYou can switch the temperature display between Celsius and Fahrenheit. This is how to do it: Switch on the cooler. Press the SET button (fig.2 4, page 3) twice. Use the UP + (fig.2 6, page 3) and DOWN - (fig.2 7,

page 3) buttons to select Celsius or Fahrenheit. The selected temperature units then appear in the display for a

few seconds. The display flashes several times before it returns to the current temperature.

Turning the lid stop aroundYou can turn the lid stop around if you want to open the lid from the other side.To do this, proceed as follows: Undo the screws on the lock lugs (fig.5 1, page 4) and take

them off. Undo the screws on the hinges (fig.5 2, page 4) and take

them off. Lay the lid down. Fit the hinges on the side you want. Fit the lock lugs on the side you want.

6.2 Energy saving tips Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected

from direct sunlight. Allow hot food to cool down first before you place it into the

device. Do not open the cooler more often than necessary. Do not leave the lid open for longer than necessary. Defrost the cooler once a layer of ice forms. Avoid unnecessary low temperatures.

6.3 Connecting the cooler

Connecting to a battery (Vehicle or boat)The cooler can be operated with 12 V or 24 Vg.

ANOTICE! Danger of damaging the device!Disconnect the cooler and other consumer units from the battery before you connect the battery to a quick charging device.Overvoltage can damage the electronics of the device.

For safety reasons the cooler is equipped with an electronic system to prevent the polarity reversal. This protects the cooler against short-circuiting when connecting to a battery.

Connecting to a 100240 V AC mains (E.g. in the home or office)

DDANGER! Danger of electrocution! Never handle plugs and switches with wet hands or if you are

standing on a wet surface. If you are operating your cooler on board a boat from a mains

connection of 100240 V~, you must install a residual current circuit breaker between the 100240 V AC mains and the cooler.Seek advice from a trained technician.

The cooler has a built-in multi-voltage mains adapter with a priority circuit for connecting to a 100-240 V~ supply. The priority circuit automatically switched to mains operation if the appliance is con-nected to a 100240 V~ supply, even if the 12/24 V cable is still connected.When switching between the AC mains and the battery supply, the red LED may light up briefly. Plug the 100240 V connection cable (fig.1 3, page 3) into

the AC voltage socket and connect it to the 100240 V AC mains.

6.4 Using the battery monitorThe device is equipped with a multi-level battery monitor that pro-tects your vehicle battery against excessive discharging when the device is connected to the on-board 12/24 V supply. If the cooler is operated when the vehicle ignition is switched off, the cooler switches off automatically as soon as the supply voltage falls below a set level. The cooler will switch back on once the bat-tery has been recharged to the restart voltage level.

ANOTICE! Danger of damage!When switched off by the battery monitor, the battery will no longer be fully charged. Avoid starting repeatedly or operating current consumers without longer charging phases. Ensure that the battery is recharged.

In HIGH mode, the battery monitor responds faster than at the levels LOW and MED (see the following table).

This is how to select the battery monitor mode: Switch on the cooler. Press the SET button (fig.2 4, page 3) three times. Use the UP + (fig.2 6, page 3) and DOWN - (fig.2 7,

page 3) buttons to select the battery monitor mode. The selected mode then appears in the display for a few sec-

onds. The display flashes several times before it returns to the current temperature.

INOTE When the cooler is supplied by the starter battery, select the battery monitor mode HIGH. If the cooler is connected to a supply battery, the battery monitor mode LOW will suffice.If you wish to operate the cooler from the AC mains, set the battery monitor to the LOW position.

6.5 Using the cooler

ANOTICE! Danger of overheating!Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the heat that generated during operation can dissipate. Ensure that the ventilation slots are not covered. Make sure that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other objects so that the air can circulate.

Place the cooler on a firm foundation.Make sure that the ventilation slots are not covered and that the heated air can dissipate.

INOTE If you wish to operate the cooler from the AC mains, set the battery monitor to the LOW position.

ANOTICE! Danger from excessively low temperature!Ensure that the only those objects are placed in the cooler that are intended to be cooled at the selected temperature.

Press the ON/OFF button (fig.2 1, page 3) for between one and two seconds.

The POWER LED lights up. The display (fig.2 5, page 3) switches on and shows the

current cooling temperature.

INOTE The temperature displayed is that of the middle of the interior. The temperatures elsewhere can deviate from this temperature.

page 3) buttons to select the cooling temperature. The cooling temperature appears in the display for a few

seconds. The display flashes several times and then the current tempera-ture is displayed again.

6.7 Switching off the cooler Empty the cooler. Switch the cooler off. Pull out the connection cable.

If you do not want to use the cooler for a longer period of time: Leave the cover slightly open. This prevents odour build-up.

6.8 Defrosting the coolerHumidity can form frost in the interior of the cooling device or on the vaporiser. This reduces the cooling capacity. Defrost the device in good time to avoid this.

ANOTICE! Danger of damage!Never use hard or pointed tools to remove ice or to loosen objects which have frozen in place.

To defrost the cooler, proceed as follows: Take out the contents of the cooling device. If necessary, place them in another cooling device to keep them

cool. Switch off the device. Leave the cover open. Wipe off the defrosted water.

6.9 Replacing the device fuse

!WARNING! Danger of electrocution!Disconnect the connection cable before you replace the device fuse.

Pull off the connection cable. Pry out the fuse insert (fig.3 2, page 3) with a screwdriver. Replace the defective fuse with a new one that has the same

rating (T2.5AL 250V). Press the fuse insert back into the housing.

6.10 Replacing the light bulb Press the switch pin (fig.8 2, page 5) downwards so that the

transparent part (fig.8 1, page 5) of the lamp can be removed at the front.

Replace the light bulb.

INOTE The LEDs in the light bulb must be aligned with the transparent part of the lamp.

Press the transparent part of the lamp back into the housing.

Si la glacire est raccord la prise CC : Dbranchez de la batterie la glacire et les autres consommateurs dnergie avant de raccorder un chargeur rapide.

Si la glacire est raccord la prise CC : Dbranchez ou teignez la glacire lorsque vous teignez le moteur. Dans le cas contraire, il se pourrait que la batterie se dcharge.

2.2 Consignes de scurit concernant le fonctionnement de lappareil

DDANGER ! Ne touchez jamais les lignes lectriques dnudes avec les

mains nues. Cela est surtout valable en cas de fonctionnement sur secteur.

!ATTENTION ! Avant de mettre lappareil en service, assurez-vous que la ligne

dalimentation lectrique et la fiche sont sches.

AAVIS ! N'utilisez aucun appareil lectrique dans la glacire, sauf si ces

appareils sont recommands par le fabricant pour cet usage. Ne placez pas lappareil prs de flammes ou dautres sources

de chaleur (chauffage, rayons solaires, fours gaz, etc.). Danger de surchauffe !

Veillez toujours ce que la chaleur produite lors du fonctionne-ment soit suffisamment dissipe. Veillez ce que l'appareil se trouve une distance suffisante des murs ou des objets, de sorte que l'air puisse circuler.

La rfrigration est assure par un circuit de refroidis-sement compresseur qui fonctionne ne ncessite aucune main-tenance. 6 Utilisation

6.1 Avant la premire utilisation

IREMARQUE Avant de mettre en service votre nouvelle glacire, vous devez, pour des raisons dhygine, la nettoyer lintrieur et lextrieur laide dun tissu humide (voir aussi Nettoyage et entretien , page 55).

Les poignes sont fournies dmontes. Pour monter les poignes, procdez de la manire suivante : Assemblez deux fixations (fig.4 1, page 4) avec un corps de

poigne (fig.4 2, page 4) pour former une poigne. Vissez la poigne ainsi constitue dans les orifices prvus

laide des vis fournies.

Slection de lunit de tempratureVous pouvez slectionner laffichage de la temprature en degrs Celsius ou Fahrenheit. Procdez comme suit : Allumez la glacire. Appuyez deux fois sur la touche SET (fig.2 4, page 3). Slectionnez lunit de temprature (Celsius ou Fahrenheit)

laide des touches UP + (fig.2 6, page 3) ou DOWN - (fig.2 7, page 3).

Lcran affiche lunit de temprature slectionne pendant quelques secondes. Lcran clignote plusieurs fois avant de re-venir l'affichage de la temprature actuelle.

Retournement de la bute du couvercleVous pouvez retourner la bute du couvercle si vous voulez ouvrir celui-ci par l'autre ct.Procdez comme suit : Dsserrez les vis des attaches de fermeture (fig.5 1, page 4)

et retirez celles-ci. Dsserrez les vis des charnires (fig.5 2, page 4) et retirez

celles-ci. Laissez le couvercle en position. Montez les charnires sur le ct souhait. Montez les attaches de fermeture sur le ct souhait.

6.2 Conseils pour conomiser de lnergie Choisissez un emplacement bien ar et l'abri du soleil. Laissez refroidir les aliments chauds avant de les dposer dans

la glacire. Ne pas ouvrir la glacire plus souvent que ncessaire. Ne laissez pas le rfrigrateur ouvert plus longtemps que n-

cessaire. Dgivrez la glacire ds quune couche de glace sest forme. Evitez une temprature intrieure inutilement basse.

6.3 Raccordement de la glacire

Raccordement une batterie (automobile ou bateau)La glacire peut tre branche sur une tension continue de 12 V ou de 24 V.

AAVIS ! Lappareil peut tre endommag !Dbranchez la glacire et les autres consommateurs dnergie de la batterie avant de recharger la batterie avec un chargeur rapide.Les surtensions peuvent endommager llectronique des appa-reils.

Pour des raisons de scurit, la glacire est quipe dune protec-tion lectronique contre les inversions de polarit en cas de raccordement une batterie et contre les court-circuits.

AAVIS ! Lappareil peut tre endommag !Pour viter des pertes de tension et de puissance frigorifique, le cble doit tre le plus court possible et ne doit pas tre interrompu.Evitez donc de placer des interrupteurs, des connecteurs ou des distributeurs supplmentaires.

A l'aide de la , fig.6, page 5dterminez le diamtre ncessaire du cble en fonction de sa longueur.Lgende de fig.6, page 5

AAVIS ! Lappareil peut tre endommag !Tenez compte de la polarit.

Avant de mettre l'appareil en service, vrifiez que la tension de service et la tension de la batterie sont identiques (voir plaque signaltique).

Assurez vous que le cble raccord au ple positif de la batterie (fig.7 2, page 5) est protg par un fusible de 15 A (fig.7 3, page 5).

Branchez le cble de raccordement 12/24-V (fig.1 2, page 3) dans la prise pour tension continue de la glacire (fig.7 1, page 5).

Raccordez le cble rouge (fig.7 rt, page 5) au ple positif de la batterie (fig.7 2, page 5).

Raccordez le cble noir (fig.7 sw, page 5) au ple ngatif de la batterie (fig.7 2, page 5).

Raccordement un rseau tension alternative de 100240 V (p. ex. la maison ou au bureau)

DDANGER ! Danger de mort par lectrocution ! Ne vous approchez pas de prises ou de commutateurs lorsque

vous avez les mains mouilles ou les pieds dans leau. Si vous raccordez votre glacire bord dun bateau un rseau

tension alternative 100240 V lintermdiaire dune prise de quai, vous devez absolument brancher un disjoncteur diffren-tiel entre le rseau 100240 V et la glacire.Veuillez vous renseigner auprs dun spcialiste.

La glacire est quipe d'un bloc d'alimentation multitension intgr avec raccordement prioritaire pour branchement sur une tension alternative de 100-240 V. Le raccordement prioritaire per-met de passer directement en fonctionnement sur secteur quand l'appareil est raccord un rseau de courant alternatif 110-240 V, mme si le cble de raccordement 12/24 V est encore branch.Lors du basculement entre alimentation sur rseau courant alter-natif et sur batterie, la DEL rouge peut sallumer pendant quelques minutes. Branchez le cble de raccordement 100240 V (fig.1 3,

page 3) sur la prise pour tension alternative et raccordez-le au secteur courant alternatif 100240 V.

6.4 Utilisation du protecteur de batterieLappareil est quip dun protecteur de batterie qui protge la batterie de votre vhicule, afin quelle ne se dcharge pas excessivement lorsque la glacire est raccorde au rseau 12/24 V du vhicule. Si la glacire est mise en service alors que lallumage du vhicule est teint, elle steint automatiquement ds que la tension dali-mentation descend en dessous dune valeur rglable. La glacire se rallume ds que la batterie est recharge et que la tension de rallumage est atteinte.

AAVIS ! Lappareil peut tre endommag !Au moment de larrt par le protecteur de batterie, la batterie ne possde plus toute sa capacit de charge ; vitez les dmarrages rpts ou la mise en marche de consommateurs dnergie, tant que la batterie na pas t recharge. Veillez recharger la batterie.

En mode HIGH , le protecteur de batterie se met en marche plus rapidement quen mode LOW ou MED (voir tableau sui-vant).

Pour modifier le mode du protecteur de batterie, procdez comme suit : Allumez la glacire. Appuyez trois fois sur la touche SET (fig.2 4, page 3). Slectionnez le mode du protecteur de batterie laide des

touches UP + (fig.2 6, page 3) ou DOWN - (fig.2 7, page 3).

Lcran affiche le mode slectionn pendant quelques se-condes. Lcran clignote plusieurs fois avant de revenir laffi-chage de la temprature actuelle.

IREMARQUE Lorsque la glacire est alimente par la batterie de dmarrage, r-glez le protecteur de batterie sur le mode HIGH . Lorsque la gla-cire est raccorde une batterie dalimentation, le mode LOW suffit.Lorsque vous voulez faire fonctionner la glacire sur le rseau tension alternative, rglez le protecteur de batterie sur le mode LOW .

6.5 Utilisation de la glacire

AAVIS ! Danger de surchauffe !Veillez toujours ce que la chaleur produite lors du fonctionnement puisse se dissiper suffisamment. Assurez-vous que les fentes daration ne sont pas recouvertes. Veillez ce que lappareil se trouve distance suffisante des murs ou des objets, de sorte que lair puisse circuler.

Placez la glacire sur une surface stable. Veillez ce que les fentes daration ne soient pas recouvertes, afin que lair chaud puisse bien svacuer.

Raccordez la glacire (voir Raccordement de la glacire , page 48).

IREMARQUE Lorsque vous voulez faire fonctionner la glacire sur le rseau tension alternative, rglez le protecteur de batterie sur le mode LOW .

AAVIS ! Risque de tempratures trop basses !Veillez ne dposer dans la glacire que des objets ou des ali-ments qui peuvent tre rfrigrs la temprature slectionne.

Appuyez pendant une deux secondes sur la touche ON/OFF (fig.2 1, page 3).

La DEL POWER sallume. Lcran (fig.2 5, page 3) sallume et indique la temprature

actuelle.

IREMARQUE La temprature affiche est celle du centre du compartiment int-rieur. Il est possible que la temprature varie selon la position.

La glacire commence par la rfrigration du compartiment in-trieur.

IREMARQUE En cas de fonctionnement sur batterie, l'cran s'teint automati-quement lorsque la tension de la batterie est faible. La DEL POWER clignote en orange.

6.6 Rglage de la temprature Appuyez une fois sur la touche SET (fig.2 4, page 3). Slectionnez la temprature de refroidissement laide des

touches UP + (fig.2 6, page 3) ou DOWN - (fig.2 7, page 3).

Laffichage indique pendant quelques secondes la temprature de refroidissement rgle. L'cran clignote plusieurs fois avant de revenir l'affichage de la temprature actuelle.

6.7 Mise hors-service de la glacire Videz la glacire. Eteignez la glacire. Dbranchez le cble de raccordement.

Lorsque vous ne voulez pas utiliser la glacire pendant une priode prolonge : Laissez le couvercle lgrement ouvert. Vous vitez ainsi la

formation dodeurs.

6.8 Dgivrage de la glacireLhumidit de lair peut se condenser sous forme de givre au niveau de lvaporateur ou lintrieur de la glacire et diminuer ainsi sa puissance frigorifique. Veillez donc dgivrer lappareil temps.

AAVIS ! Lappareil peut tre endommag !Nutilisez jamais doutils durs ou pointus pour enlever les couches de glace ou pour dtacher des objets pris dans le givre.

Procdez de la manire suivante pour dgivrer la glacire : Retirez les aliments. Placez-les ventuellement dans un autre rfrigrateur,

pour quils restent froids. Eteignez lappareil. Laissez le couvercle ouvert. Essuyez leau provenant du dgivrage.

6.9 Remplacement du fusible de lappareil

!AVERTISSEMENT ! Danger de mort par lectrocution !Avant de remplacer le fusible, retirez les cbles de raccordement.

Dbranchez les cbles de raccordement. Retirez le porte-fusible (fig.3 2, page 3) en faisant par ex.

levier avec un tournevis. Remplacez le fusible dfectueux par un nouveau fusible de

mme valeur (T2,5AL 250V). Replacez le porte-fusible dans le botier, en appuyant dessus.

6.10 Changement de la lampe incandescence Appuyez sur la tige de contact (fig.8 2, page 5) pour que la

partie transparente (fig.8 1, page 5) de la lampe puisse tre retire par devant.

Remplacez l'lment lumineux.

IREMARQUE Les DEL de l'lment lumineux doivent tre orientes vers la partie transparente de la lampe.

Replacez la partie transparente de la lampe dans le botier.

!AVERTISSEMENT ! Avant toute opration de nettoyage ou d'entretien de l'appareil, veillez le mettre hors secteur.

AAVIS ! Risque d'endommagement ! Ne nettoyez jamais la glacire leau courante et ne la plongez

pas non plus dans l'eau. N'utilisez pour le nettoyage ni produits abrasifs ni objets durs qui

pourraient endommager la glacire.

Nettoyez de temps autre lappareil lintrieur et lextrieur avec un chiffon humide.

2.1 Seguridad general

DPELIGRO! En embarcaciones: en caso de funcionamiento conectado a la

red elctrica, asegrese de que el suministro de corriente est protegido con un interruptor diferencial.

!ADVERTENCIA! No ponga el aparato en funcionamiento si presenta desperfec-

tos visibles. Slo personal especializado puede realizar reparaciones en el

aparato. Las reparaciones realizadas indebidamente pueden dar lugar a situaciones de considerable peligro.

Las personas (incluidos los nios) que, debido a sus capacida-des fsicas, sensoriales o mentales, a su falta de experiencia o a desconocimiento, no pueden utilizar el producto de forma segura, no tienen permitido utilizar este producto sin la vigilan-cia y las instrucciones de una persona sobre la que recae tal responsabilidad.

Los aparatos elctricos no son juguetes.Guarde y utilice el aparato fuera del alcance de los nios.

conecte el cable de alimentacin CC a una caja de enchufe CC en el vehculo (por ejemplo mechero del vehculo)

o bien conecte el cable de alimentacin de 230 V a la red de corriente alterna de 230 V

Compare el valor de tensin indicado en la placa de caractersticas con el suministro de energa existente.

Este aparato refrigerador no es apto para transportar sustancias corrosivas o disolventes.

No extraiga nunca la clavija de la caja de enchufe tirando del cable de conexin.

Si la nevera est conectada a la caja de enchufe CC: Desconecte de la batera el aparato refrigerador u otros dispositivos consumidores si va a conectar un cargador rpido.

Si la nevera est conectada a la caja de enchufe CC: Desconecte la conexin o apague el aparato cuando apague el motor. De lo contrario podr descargarse la batera.

2.2 Seguridad durante el funcionamiento del aparato

DPELIGRO! No toque directamente con las manos cables sin aislamiento.

Esto rige especialmente en caso de funcionamiento con la red de corriente alterna.

!ATENCIN! Antes de la puesta en funcionamiento, asegrese de que el

cable de alimentacin y la clavija de enchufe estn secos.

AAVISO! No utilice ningn aparato elctrico dentro de la nevera, a no ser

que el aparato en cuestin haya sido recomendado para ello por el fabricante.

La refrigeracin se realiza a travs de un circuito de refrigeracin con compresor que no requiere mantenimiento. 6 Manejo

6.1 Antes del primer uso

INOTA Por razones de higiene, debera limpiar la nueva nevera por dentro y por fuera con un pao hmedo antes de ponerla en funciona-miento (vase tambin Limpieza y mantenimiento en la pgina 74).

Las asas se adjuntan sueltas. Si las quiere montar, proceda como se indica a continuacin: Monte dos soportes (fig.4 1, pgina 4) y un asa

(fig.4 2, pgina 4) formando una unidad. Fije el asa con los tornillos adjuntos en los orificios

previstos para ello.

Seleccionar la unidad de temperaturaPara la indicacin de temperatura puede elegir entre Celsius o Fahrenheit. Para ello proceda de la siguiente manera: Encienda la nevera. Pulse el botn SET (fig.2 4, pgina 3) dos veces. Ajuste con las teclas UP + (fig.2 6, pgina 3) o DOWN -

(fig.2 7, pgina 3) la unidad de temperatura Celsius o Fahr-enheit.

El display indica durante unos segundos la unidad de tempera-tura ajustada. El display parpadea algunas veces antes de vol-ver a mostrar la temperatura actual.

Dar la vuelta al tope de la tapaPuede dar la vuelta al tope de la tapa, en caso de que desee abrir la tapa hacia el otro lado.Para ello proceda de la siguiente manera: Suelte los tornillos de las pestaas de cierre (fig.5 1,

pgina 4) y retire estas ltimas. Suelte los tornillos de las bisagras (fig.5 2, pgina 4) y retire

estas ltimas. Deje la tapa de la nevera a un lado. Monte las bisagras en el lado deseado. Monte las pestaas de cierre en el lado deseado.

6.2 Consejos para el ahorro de energa Elija un lugar de montaje correctamente ventilado y protegido

de la radiacin solar. Antes de introducir alimentos calientes, deje que se enfren. Evite abrir la nevera ms de lo necesario. No deje la nevera abierta ms tiempo del que sea necesario. Descongele la nevera cuando se forme una capa de escarcha. Evite utilizar temperaturas innecesariamente bajas.

6.3 Conexin de la nevera

Conexin a una batera (Vehculo o embarcacin)La nevera puede funcionar con una tensin continua de 12 V 24 V.

AAVISO! Peligro de daos en el aparato!Antes de cargar la batera con un cargador rpido, desconctela de la nevera y de otros consumidores.La sobretensin puede daar el sistema electrnico del aparato.

Por motivos de seguridad, la nevera est equipada con una protec-cin electrnica contra inversin de polaridad que la protege si no se respetala polaridad al conectarla a la batera y contra cortocir-cuitos.

AAVISO! Peligro de daos en el aparato!A fin de evitar prdidas de tensin y potencia, el cable debera ser lo ms corto posible y sin interrupciones.Por lo tanto, evite instalar interruptores, enchufes o cajas de distri-bucin adicionales.

AAVISO! Peligro de daos en el aparato!Preste atencin a que la polaridad sea la correcta.

Compruebe antes de poner en marcha el aparato que la tensin de funcionamiento y la tensin de la batera coincidan (vase la placa de caractersticas).

Asegrese de que el cable est asegurado en el polo positivo de la batera (fig.7 2, pgina 5) con un fusible de 15 A (fig.7 3, pgina 5).

Inserte el cable de alimentacin de 12/24-V (fig.1 2, pgina 3) en la hembrilla de tensin continua de la nevera (fig.7 1, pgina 5).

Una el cable rojo (fig.7 rt, pgina 5) con el polo positivo de la batera (fig.7 2, pgina 5).

Una el cable negro (fig.7 sw, pgina 5) con el polo negativo de la batera (fig.7 2, pgina 5).
