This Week:

United By the Spirit

My dear brothers and sisters in

Christ, United as the Body of

Christ!

St. Paul speaks about the Church

as the Body of Christ. In this analogy, Paul tells us

that every member of the Church makes up a different

part of that body. Some are the hands, some are the

feet and so on. He is clear that Jesus Christ is the head

of that body.

According to this analogy, every member of the

Church has a particular role to fill, which is unique

from everyone else and that each role is essential. If

one part of the body ceases to operate to its full

potential or if it becomes ill, then the entire body will

suffer in some manner.

Sunday, June 10, 2018

Our unity as the Body of Christ is one of our greatest

assets as the Church. When we are individually

living as we are called to, we build up not only

ourselves, but also the rest of the Church. Our good

deeds, our genuine acts of holiness build up the

Church. In the same way that our good acts build

up the Church, our evil acts harm the Church.

Unity with the Trinity

The Church needs to be united, not only among

members, but more importantly, members must be

united to the Trinity. It

is the Holy Spirit that

unites us with one

another on a human

level, but the Holy Spirit

also unites us with the

Trinity.

Fr. Ted Dudzinski, Pastor

Sacrament of Reconciliation. In this sacrament we

are cleansed of sin and we are returned to the state of

Baptismal grace. It is in this state that we can know

best that we are allowing the Holy Spirit to guide us

and that we are cooperating with the graces offered by

the Holy Spirit.

When we live this way, we benefit from the graces of

the Holy Spirit and we are led by Divine Providence.

The whole Church also benefits when we

individually decide to live a life guided by the Holy

Spirit.

My dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Let us be

United by the Spirit as we Learn, Love, & Live

Christ’s Mission!

Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament, Pray for us!

!!

When we are united to the Trinity and live a life of

grace, we are able to accomplish the will of God in

our lives more effectively and more efficiently. It is

only through our unity with the Trinity and our

belonging to the Body of Christ that this life of grace is

possible.

Seeking the Will of God

Living a life united to the Trinity is accomplished by

allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our lives and our

cooperation with those graces offered to us by the

Holy Spirit. How can we be sure that we are

allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our lives? How can

we be sure that we are cooperating with the graces

offered by the Holy Spirit?

The best way to be sure that we are living in such a

way as to be guided by the Holy Spirit is to remove sin

from our lives. This is accomplished through the
