    Yale Veracitor VX SeriesThis series of trucks is available in threeconfigurations.The Veracitor Base truck offers first-rateperformance for a wide variety of applications,geared to minimise cost of acquisition withoutcompromising performance.The Veracitor Value truck provides excellentperformance applications optimised for lowesthourly operating cost.The Veracitor Productivity truck deliversmaximum performance for medium to heavy-duty applications with state-of-the art featuresand industry leading power.EnginesYale Veracitor truck is powered by a range ofheavy duty industrial engines, designed todeliver power efficiently over a 20,000 hourdesign life with 500 hour service intervals. Allengines feature Cast Iron Blocks and a 5 mainbearing design; engines are fully isolated fromthe frame and axle to prevent directtransmission of noise and vibration, resulting inlow vehicle noise and vibration levels.Variations in LPG fuel and its higher burningtemperatures present challenges for convertedGasoline Engines and Yale has developed stateof the art electronic fuel injection systems,which use closed loop control to maintainproper fuelling in all operating conditions.These advanced Industrial Engines feature coilover plug spark designs, and speciallyhardened intake and exhaust valve seats toensure long operating life.The high performance Kubota 2.5L LPG enginemaximises performance and productivity forintensive operations, and with Cast Iron headand special 9.5 Litre Oil capacity is designed todo so reliably for the life of the truck. Advancedengine control s allow fuel mapping to beoptimised to allow highly efficient operation inECO–eLo (Fuel efficiency) mode, with minimumloss of performance.Heavy Duty Diesel Engines from Yanmar havesuper quick glow plugs allowing the engine tostart quickly and reliably under cold conditions,the cold start device delivering a cleanerexhaust by advancing the fuel injection timingbased on water temperature. Emissions havebeen reduced by controlling fuel injectiontiming according to engine load.MastsThe range of new masts provides the driverwith excellent visibility both through the mastand panoramically. The mast has a robustdesign and offers excellent rigidity particularlyat full lift height. They are manufactured withoutcompromise to provide robust and reliableperformance, with minimal maintenance costover the lifetime of the product.TransmissionFour transmission selections are available withmultiple engine configurations for a widevariety of material handling applications.

    1) Standard Electronic features electronicinching, electric shift control, neutral startswitch, antirestart protection and heavy dutyclutch packs.2) The TechtronixTM 100 has all the StandardElectronic features plus an Auto DecelerationSystem.3) The TechtronixTM 100X has all theTechtronixTM 100 features, plus Two SpeedAuto Shift (2 x forward, 1 x reverse).Load Sensing HydraulicsWith AccuTouchTM electrohydraulic controlsLoad Sensing Hydraulics (LSH) deliversincreased operational efficiency, offering a15% reduction in fuel consumption on the VDIcycle, with no loss in productivity*. Variabledisplacement piston pumps match the flowrate and lifting speed continuously to thedemands of the duty cycle. O-ring face sealfittings are used in all high pressure hydraulicconnections. The engine therefore suppliesonly power to the hydraulic pumps whenrequired, so more power is available for driving.With LSH Yale also offers an ECO-eLo (FuelEfficiency) mode, reducing engine speed by20% and optimising throttle response, so thatthe truck operates in the most economicalpower range. This results in a reduction in fuelconsumption of a further 5%* but has a limitedeffect on overall truck productivity underapplication conditions. The ECO-eLo modealso delivers lower noise levels by up to 3dB(A).If a faster work rate, or higher productivity isrequired, the truck can easily be reprogrammedto HiP (High Performance) mode of operationthrough the dash display, with access securedby a unique customer password.Autospeed HydraulicsWith Autospeed Hydraulics the engine speed isautomatically increased to provide full hydraulicpower. The Pacesetter VSM maintains thecurrent travel speed (or prevents travel) untilthe operator steps on the accelerator. Nooperator inching is required and productivityand efficiency is increased by simplifyingoperator actions.Cooling SystemThe cooling system employs a 43cm bladepusher type fan. A permanently lubricatedwater pump and a high capacity, cross-flowradiator ensures rapid heat dissipation. Thesealed cooling system operates at 15psi, thecoolant recovery tank allows visual inspectionof coolant level. A transmission oil cooler isintegrated into the radiator, located in the sidetank. The optional combi-cooler radiatorfeatures an externally mounted transmission oilcooler for increased heat transfer capability. Allradiators are soft mounted for durability.Drive AxleThe drive axle is designed to withstand heavyduty applications and absorb shock loads. It isa “selfcontained” assembly isolated from thetransmission by a heavy-duty rubber isolator.The axle shafts utilize a “rolled fillet” root spline

    design for increased resistance to torsionstress. A magnetic sump plug collects anymetal particles circulating in the axle oil toprevent component wear.BrakesBrakes are duo-servo hydraulic, self-energizing, and automatic adjusting drumbrake assemblies.The Value and Productivity models have oilimmersed brakes as standard. The singlecircuit master cylinder has a sealed fluidreservoir and features a fluid level sensor whichactivates an indicator light on the instrumentpanel.Hydraulic Power SteeringHydrostatic steering provides responsivecontrol and eliminates mechanical linkages forreduced surface shock and simplifiedmaintenance. The steering wheel is 30cm indiameter with a textured surface grip andspinner knob, and requires only four turns lock-to-lock. The centre mounted steer cylinder islocated within the confines of the steer axle forprotection.Steer AxleConstructed from cast steel, the steer axle isrubber shock mounted to the frame for reducedwear and vibration. The CSE (ContinuousStability Enhancement) system enhanceslateral truck stability through reduced steer axlearticulation, while simultaneously allowinguncompromised uneven surface travel.Operator’s CompartmentBase truck features cowl mounted hydrauliccontrol levers as standard, positioned on theright side of the steering column. All models areavailable with AccuTouchTM mini-lever armrest,which features a contoured design, and - inaddition to the hydraulic functions - features ahorn and direction switch.The Full Suspension Seat together with theisolated powertrain provide best in classWhole-Body Vibration levels of 0.6m/s2,ensuring that the operator remains comfortablethroughout the shift and fatigue, aches andpains are kept to a minimum. Automotive-stylepedal arrangement with a large, singleinch/brake pedal is standard. Intellix Vehicle System Management (VSM) VSM acts as a master truck controller,providing extensive monitoring and control oftruck functions and systems. CANbustechnology reduces wiring complexity andenables communications between trucksystems. The dash display transmits continualfeedback to the operator and allowscommunication of service codes. On-boarddiagnostics enable quick and easytroubleshooting.
