Maintenance and Projects has a vacancy for a suitably qualifiedMaintenance Planner who possesses an N3/Grade 12, as well asa valid trade certificate (Fitter or Electrician).

This position reports to the Senior Planner and requires the in-cumbent to:Have experience as Maintenance Planner and experience in plan-ning and process flow.

The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years experience as aMaintenance Planner.• Have relevant knowledge or exposure of general SHEQ

Management System and QA Systems, excellentcommunication skills in the English language, Technicalknowledge, knowledge of the legal law requirements, must beable to display good interpersonal skills and use own initiative,must be computer literate.

• Have a valid Trade Certificate.• Knowledge have MS Projects will be an added advantage

Scope ofWork:(This is not an exhaustive list of functions to be carried out).• Keep configuration management (equipment and

documentation up to date.• Manage all maintenance, ad hoc jobs and keep outstanding

work up to date.• Plan and prioritize ad hoc tasks.• Organise spares for planned work.• Order plant related spares.• Maintain safety system and work orders.

Personal Circumstances:• Must be in possession of satisfactory medical report from

company’s medical clinic (Red ticket).• Must be able to communicate at all levels and have good inter

personal skills.• Must be assertive, self motivated and a team player.• Must be able to work additional hours from time to time.• Must be able and willing to work under pressure and assume

duties in additional to your current one.• Be in possession of a valid drivers license (Code 8).

The job requires you to work additional hours from time to time.
