Vufold Ultra door sets are available in white or grey powder-coated aluminium outside and natural clear oak inside. they are designed to be installed by any competent builder or joiner, and no specialist aluminium door installation experience is required.

• the oak on the inside has been factory finished with three coats of clear polyurethane finish and is ready to install without further finishing

• the 44mm thickness triple-glazed units incorporate two panes of special low E thermal glass that are argon gas filled to keep the heat in and the cold out. and the glass is toughened to the two latest European standards BsEn12150 and BsEn12600

the superb Vufold Elite door set is the perfect choice if you’re working to a budget but don’t want to compromise on quality, design or performance. Elite is equally well suited to extensions, in between the house and conservatory or sunroom, for new builds or even to replace existing patio doors.

Each door set has a slow-grown hardwood engineered core and a full 3mm slice of real oak on all faces - not ‘oak effect’ or ‘oak stain’. the result is a folding, sliding door set that looks superb in any location and has proven its durability and reliability in thousands of homes across the country.

the attractive Vufold Master door set is a very similar specification to our Vufold Elite, but this option comes with a hardwood veneer which has a crisp factory-applied white finish.

Vufold Master has bags of quality and style and is actually our most affordable product. it could save you a considerable amount of money and also gives you all of the design and colour scheme possibilities of a pure white finish.

our stunning french doors are designed to be the perfect complement to our folding, sliding door sets. Made from engineered hardwood, they come with a choice of factory pre-finished oak veneer or beautiful white high build microporous wood coating.

Three beautiful ranges

three eyecatching and extremely practical ranges are available: Vufold Elite french doors have the same superb design and construction as our Elite door sets, and Vufold Master white french doors complement our white Master doors. We also have Classic french doors, which is a separate product range and is a good, lower-priced option for smaller budgets or for replacing old draughty, worn-out single glazed doors.

Vufold Elite and Master french doors come with a choice of open-in or open-out of the room and either brass or chrome hardware (whereas Classic french doors open-out and have chrome fittings). in addition, all doors have low E double-glazed, argon gas filled sealed units, five-point locking system and two-point security lock. all three ranges are available in sizes 4ft, 5ft and 6ft wide plus 6ft and 8ft widths including two sidelites, and all are ready and easy to install.

New Vufold Inspire folding doors

new Vufold inspire is a totally new and unique concept in internal folding room dividers. it offers simplicity, flexibility and stunning good looks which simply aren’t available from any other manufacturer.

Vufold inspire has four doors, with the two centre doors opening individually or together, for daily access between the rooms. then by simply unlocking the top slide bolts the doors can be folded to the left and the right, then easily folded back against the wall to provide full open access between the two rooms.

in the open position, the two access doors are held securely in position with the Vufold door holders which come with the set. no bottom track is needed, so you have a seamless, unobstructed floor level between the two rooms.

above all, new Vufold inspire gives you the flexibility of having two cosy, separate rooms, or in a matter of seconds opening up the doors for a bigger, more open and inviting living space.

the doors and frames have an engineered construction for additional stability, with a clear selected oak veneer on the surface. the doors are a chunky 40mm thick and supplied in unfinished bare wood. You can clear varnish inspire to give an oak finish, or add any wood stain or paint colour of your choice to match your existing colour scheme.

• the set comes complete with glazed doors, frame, seals, folding hardware and mortice latch. the only thing not included are the handles, so you can match what you already have on your other doors

• the top and bottom pivots which give the folding action are completely adjustable for both height and side-to-side movement, and provide fine adjustment at the turn of a screwdriver

• Most parts are pre-machined in our factory so assembly is quick and simple

• slide bolts and magnet catches are included to keep the doors securely closed and in line

• Each set comes complete with draught seals to ensure you stay warm and cosy

Uniquely for folding, sliding doors, our blinds fit on the inside faces of the doors outside the glass, so are easy to maintain and replace. this is unlike those blinds which fit inside the double-glazed units, and need the complete glass unit or door to be replaced if there’s a problem.

Getting the most from your new Vufold door set

to keep your Vufold door set looking its best and to ensure that you get optimal performance at all times, we recommend that you maintain your Vufold door set regularly.

the exterior hardware in your Vufold door set can deteriorate from everyday use. that’s why regular maintenance of your door hardware is important. Wash regularly with soapy water, dry off then coat with Vaseline or a light lubricant.

Vufold maintenance kit

We require that regular maintenance is carried out to ensure that your guarantee remains valid. to help you maintain your new doors, we have a maintenance kit which consists of a one litre tin of top coat finish, sanding pads, paint brush, microfibre cloth and wood care milk, which is a wax enriched finish designed to prolong the life of the original finish between maintenance periods.

Maintenance top Coat is also available to purchase in handy one litre tins and a range of individual products are available online.

to help you keep your doors in tiptop condition, we will send you a free Homeowners’ Manual along with your doors. this will tell you exactly what you need to do. You can also find plenty of information on our website at www.vufold.co.uk

Vufold folding sliding door sets are guaranteed for a full ten years against the occurrence of manufacturing faults, apart from the glass units which are guaranteed for a five year period. the Vufold Ultra external powder coated aluminium finish is guaranteed for 15 years if installed a minimum of 800 metres from the sea.

this guarantee covers the original purchaser only and proof of the date of purchase is required to validate it. the guarantee is conditional upon complying with the Vufold instructions and recommendations for installation, care and maintenance. this guarantee covers replacement of faulty parts only and does not cover incidental expenses. failure to comply with the installation and finishing instructions will invalidate this guarantee. We recommend that a competent tradesperson installs this product.
