UF’s unique 5-year ProTeach students may take a virtual school internship in their last semester

This program is in its third year

Each student is paired with an experienced mentor teacher for 8 weeks

Students take the VS teacher orientation training

ISTE NETS-T standards frame the activities


Students, teachers, faculty, and VS facilitators meet on UF campus

Students and teachers co-teach virtually

Students present their learning to other students at UF

Students have priority review in applying for jobs at the VS
