What does Love thy God look like? Submission and commitment. A willing and submissive heart that is focused on our personal relationship with the Father, through the Son in the power of the Holy Spirit. It includes giving Him control over our church, our church life and our personal life. It means committing to making God the priority in everything that we do, say and think.

Love thy Neighbor

Matthew 22:39 And the second is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.'

What does Love thy Neighbor look like? Loving, Sacrificing and Caring for all of God’s creation. Loving and caring for our church family, our community and anyone we encounter. Reaching in to help others through our areas of influence. Sacrificing our own desires for the benefit of others.

Great Commission

Matthew 28:19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age." Amen.

What does the Great Commission look like? Getting outside the church walls. Actively pursuing leading others to Jesus Christ by having a genuine burden for someone else’s eternity.

What does Growing in God look like? Actively pursuing to grow your own personal relationship with Jesus Christ while helping others do the same. Using your knowledge and gifts to further His kingdom both in Heaven and on earth.

What does Prayer look like? Bathed. Everything that we are doing, committing to and thinking about needs to be bathed in prayer and fasting. Covering our services, each other, our community, this Mission and Vision in prayer. Sometimes it is praying before we go, sometimes during our journey and sometimes after we have arrived.
