ACCIDENT AND SICKNESS MEDICAL EXPENSECan reimburse for reasonable and customary medical and surgical services of a physician, nurse and/or hospital, or dentist, if accident or illness occurs while on a trip.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL EVACUATION AND RETURN OF REMAINSCan reimburse reasonable charges for emergency medical evacuation, return air fare for you and your dependent children, round trip air fare for someone from home to visit while you recover, and the cost of returning remains home, in the event of death.

BAGGAGE AND PERSONAL EFFECTS/BAGGAGE DELAYCan reimburse for baggage and personal effects if lost, damaged or stolen on your trip. Also can pay for the purchase of reasonable additional clothing and personal effects, if baggage is delayed more than 12 hours.

ACCIDENTAL DEATH AND DISMEMBERMENTCan reimburse in the unlikely event that an accident on a trip results in death or dismemberment.

TRIP INTERRUPTION (GOLD PLAN ONLY)Can reimburse nonrefundable, pre-paid trip expenses and the cost of additional transportation expenses, when trip is interrupted due to covered circumstances.

POLITICAL & NATURAL DISASTER EVACUATION (GOLD PLAN ONLY)Pays if you need to evacuate because of a covered Emergency Security or Military Situation, such as a civil or military uprising, war or other violent disturbance.

EligibilityCoverage is available to U.S. residents while traveling outside a 100 mile radius from his/her place of permanent U.S. residence for trips with a maximum duration of 90 days. The Silver plan is not available to residents of Virginia.
