Driver Service PlatformThe Driver Service Platform provides the driver with powerful tools to plan and optimize the everyday transport mission.

The Driver Service Platform is an integrated part of Dynafleet and enables features for the driver and the fleet manager based on the following services:• Dynafleet Fuel & Environment service• Dynafleet Positioning service• Dynafleet Driver Times service• Dynafleet Messaging service

All information is displayed in the integrated 7” colour display. The functions in the display are controlled with the steering wheel buttons and the radio control panel.

Driver Service Platform with NavigationThe integrated navigation system ensures that the driver focus on the road. Controls are always at hand and clear voice route guidance ensures a safe journey to the destination.

Audible route guidance including visual information is presented to the driver in the integrated 7” colour display. The navigation system is controlled via the radio control buttons or the steering wheel buttons.

The navigation system optimizes the fastest or shortest route based on restrictions in customized truck attributes such as; width, height, weight, axle load and hazardous material. During route guidance, the navigation system also re-routes based on Traffic Message Channel (TMC) information from the local radio broadcasting and presents truck alerts, such as speed limit, no overtaking, lane merge, cross winds, level crossing, no left-/right turn and no u-turn, risk of grounding, lane narrows, sharp turn ahead and steep incline/decline ahead.

Volvo Truck Centers are presented on the map.

Integrated with DynafleetThe Dynafleet Positioning and Messaging services in addition to the navigation enable the dispatcher to send destinations to the truck from the Dynafleet web portal. Estimated time of arrival (ETA) is reported back to Dynafleet once the destination has been confirmed by the driver.
