Volunteer Management Resources

Websites and Local Community Groups

Resource Websites

• Ventura County Volunteer Coordinator’s Council – www.vcvcc.org Listings include volunteer recruitment

sites and organizations, volunteer management tips and trainings, and volunteer recognition ideas

Crosslistings

• The state volunteer website, www.volunteerca.gov, gets its listings from the United Way volunteer sites.

• Americorp gets their listings from several other sites including Idealist.org and Volunteer Match. Listing on one or two of these sites should result in your listings being available on most of the major sites.

In Conclusion…

This presentation was meant to give you an overview and show the potential benefits of utilizing these sites. Each area needs to spend time researching the various agencies and resources available to them. If you are aware of any sites that should be included within these pages, please let me know – [email protected].
