National Volunteer WeekNational Volunteer Week (NVW) is a time to recognize, celebrate and thank Canada’s volunteers. NVW 2019 takes place April 7 - 13.

To help recognize the vital impact and essential contribution of volunteers in our community, City of Vaughan not-for-profit organizations and community groups are invited to nominate their most outstanding volunteer of 2018.

City of VaughanVolunteer Recognition Awards CeremonyThe recipient will receive a letter from the Mayor inviting him or her to an awards ceremony at 7:30pm on Friday, April 5, 2019 at Vaughan City Hall. The letter will be mailed in the third week of March.

The Mayor and Members of Council will present each recipient with a volunteer recognition certificate and a City of Vaughan pin.
