Volunteer Newsletter - August 2018 I hope you're all having a good summer! Thank you to those of you who joined us at the Volunteer Summer Social on 1st August. It was a lovely evening and great to have an opportunity to catch up with some of you. Many thanks to the Duke Street Church too, for allowing us to make use of their lovely venue. Things are pretty quiet in terms of volunteer requests at the moment, due to the summer holidays. However, we have some exciting news this month, which I am able to share with you below. We are also featuring one of our longest-serving staff members this month in our 'Spotlight' series. Please note that I will be on leave from next week, returning to the office on 5th September and there will be very limited cover for volunteering during my absence. If you are currently volunteering with us, please just contact your team manager with any questions or concerns. Any new volunteer applications will be processed on my return. Thank you as always for your continued help and support and enjoy the rest of your summer!
