Outline the transmission of information in involuntary action. LESSON OUTLINE : INDUCTION Students view computer animation on transmission of information in the form of electrical signals. ACTIVITY 1. Students view diagram examples of voluntary action and involuntary action. Vuluntary action ex: raising your hand to answer questions Involuntary action involving skeletal muscles ex. Knee jerk Involuntary action involving smooth muscles, cardiac muscles/glands ex: Normal Blood Pressure 2. Students draw a schematic diagram of a reflex arc. CLOSURE : Teacher summarise the differences of voluntary action and involuntary action. Q & A session.
