At our June 6th meeting Suffolk County Police Commissioner Tim Sini will join us to listen to our neighborhood concerns. This is the time to speak your concerns and have them heard. There have been many complaints via social media regarding speeding, running stop signs, and other quality of life concerns. Please use this meeting as your forum. Together we are a stronger voice.

Congrats Seniors The Parkdale Civic Association Inc. would like to congratulate Kymberly Rambazis & Stephanie Dubanos for their recent scholarship awards. Kymberly will be attending St. Joseph’s college and majoring in Education/Special Education. Stephanie will be attending PACE university for her nursing degree. On behalf of all the Parkdalians, congratulations and good luck in your future endeavors.

If you haven’t noticed already, please take a look at the job done by the North Babylon Lions club on the corner of Deer Park Ave., & Sylvan Rd. The Lions club worked with sandpiper landscape and the town of Babylon on revitalizing that corner to give it a much-needed makeover. Thank you to all who had a hand in making North Babylon beautiful. Up next—Keep an eye out for the corner of Belmont Ave and Hubbards Path. The North Babylon Chamber of Commerce is working to bring a much-needed makeover to this corner as well. These projects are just more examples of community minded groups helping to beautify North Babylon. Thank you to all the volunteers who come together and work selflessly for us all.

Don’t forget!! June 18th from 3 till dark. The Parkdale civic presents our first annual Family Festival. The day will consist of FREE bounce houses, FREE music & Karaoke, FREE Minions movie at dusk, 1 on 1 Q&A with your elected officials, the Suffolk county police dept, food vendors, raffles and lots and lots of fun. Bring your family and friends! We look forward to seeing everyone. This event is open to everyone!!
