Volume 40 Number 5 January 29, 2017 Total Commitment Day Kickoff! Praise the Lord! Today marks the kick off for our Annual Total Commitment Day (October 1, 2017). We encourage each member to make a spiritual and financial commitment by signing one of the green commitment cards today. Each year we ask that every family donate $300.00, or however much you can afford, toward Total Day. It is suggested that you begin donating a little each week starting today, through Total Day 2017, so that we might reach our goal of $75,000.000 (if you give $8.33 each Sunday, starting today, you will have donated approximately $300.00 by Total Day). These funds are used for three major purposes: (1) to help fund our 38th Annual Homecoming in November, (2) to help with our building program, (3) to help balance the budget at the end of the year. Total Day is also designed as a challenge to all members to recommit themselves to the work of the Lord. When we are about our Fathers business in ways that are pleasing to Him, He blesses us even more. Please complete a Ministry Sign-Up Form and lets get to work! Trust in God!

Total Commitment Day Kickoff!

Praise the Lord! Today marks the kick off for our Annual

Total Commitment Day (October 1, 2017). We encourage each

member to make a spiritual and financial commitment by signing

one of the green commitment cards today. Each year we ask that

every family donate $300.00, or however much you can afford,

toward Total Day. It is suggested that you begin donating a little

each week starting today, through Total Day 2017, so that we might

reach our goal of $75,000.000 (if you give $8.33 each Sunday,

starting today, you will have donated approximately $300.00 by

Total Day). These funds are used for three major purposes: (1) to

help fund our 38th Annual Homecoming in November, (2) to

help with our building program, (3) to help balance the budget

at the end of the year.

Total Day is also designed as a challenge to all members

to recommit themselves to the work of the Lord. When we are

about our Father’s business in ways that are pleasing to Him, He

blesses us even more. Please complete a Ministry Sign-Up Form

and let’s get to work! Trust in God!

It is an honor to have you join us in worship at the

Northside Church of Christ! Our mission is to save

souls and to help souls stay saved. We extend our

sincere love towards you and we encourage you to take

advantage of the opportunity to have a bible study with

members who are eager to study with you. If you do not

share our like faith, this bible study, as well as your visit

today, offers a two way opportunity: (1) We have the

chance to share with you the gospel of Jesus Christ and

the essential steps to salvation. (2) You have the chance

to hear, believe, repent, confess, and be baptized where-

by being added to the Church of Christ. We welcome

you to investigate what you hear and see today. You

will be able to ask your biblical questions and receive

biblical answers that will guide you to make an in-

formed, life changing decision. Thank you for being our

special guest! Please come again.

Better Men, Husbands, Fathers, and Leaders

Did You Tell Someone About Jesus?

Matt. 28:19-20 is the great

commission given to members of

the body of Christ. As Christians,

it is our responsibility to Tell,

Talk and Teach others about

Jesus. Telling someone about

Christ will often open the door to

Talk with them about Him. You

can then Teach them or invite

them to Church where they can be

taught. We encourage each Chris-

tian to take advantage of such

opportunities. If you know of a

prospect, and for some reason

cannot conduct a personal Bible

study, please give their contact

information to Bro. and/or Sis.

Oliver or to one of our Leaders.

Welcome to the Family!!
