back received will be collated to contin-
ue School Council’s commitment to im-
prove the traffic safety around our
school. It would be appreciated if fami-

Dear Parents, Staff and
Students,
Congratulations to all on their great
work during our ‘Better Buddies
Maths Games Day’ last Friday. The
day concluded with a fun filled as-
sembly highlighted by the wonderful
Year 3’s recitation of the
‘Mathemagical Maths’ song, Mrs
Schumann’s ‘Heads and Tails’ game
which was eventually won by Adam
O’Brien from Prep T ,and our choir’s
impressive performance of ‘You’ve
Got a Friend in Me’. We hope all
those new skills learnt throughout
the maths day will help families have
a go at this week’s Maths Challenge
on page 2.
This week we have presented two of
our 2014 Information sessions dur-
ing which we presented what Kismet
Park PS has to offer including: an inclu-
sive curriculum, extra-curricular activi-
ties, lunchtime programs, home-school
partnerships and a high level of com-
munity involvement. It was pleasing to
receive such positive comments from
prospective parents regarding the cur-
riculum on offer, student welfare pro-
grams, the tone of the school, level of
student engagement and range of re-
sources. We congratulate all – teach-
ers, educational support officers, stu-
dents and parent helpers on their
great work.
