Un Viaje a Uruguay La Oficina de Asuntos Multiculturales del Colegio de Comunicaciones celebró el mes de la hispanidad con un evento en honor a Uruguay

What? A team of researchers from the Department of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese at Penn

State University is looking for participants for a research study examining the way in which English-Spanish and Spanish-

English speakers understand sentences in each of their languages.

How? Participants will be asked to read silently sentences that appear on a computer screen and to answer simple

“yes” “no” questions.

Where? This study requires a one 60- to 90-minute visit to the Bilingualism Processing Lab, 7 Thomas Building,

University Park.

Who? Eligibility requirements include: women and men between the ages of 18-35 who speak Spanish as their first

language and English as their second language or who speak English as their first language and Spanish as their second

language. Scheduling is very flexible. Interested individuals should contact Dr. Giuli Dussias, the director of the study

(email: [email protected]), or Christine Theberge ([email protected]).

Compensation of $10 per hour will be provided
