The is the inaugural episode of The Vectors Mobile Fabrication Laboratory, giving the backstory on the City of San Leandro and it's vision to transform itself into a center for innovation.TRANSCRIPT
Once upon a time…. there was a business named
OSISoft…. owned by Dr. Patrick Kennedy… and his
business was flourishing to 110 countries around
the world using his SUPER DATA SYNTHESIZER.
Problem was…. his infrastructure couldn't keep up
with his growing need for faster speeds to
synthesize fast enough…. he was thsynthesize fast enough…. he was threatened to
leave his hometown and where he founded the
company and raised his children…. in order to
find somewhere…. that had internet speeds fast
enough to accommodate for his growing network….
sigh...
in response to the critical need, the city partnered up with Dr. Patrick Kennedy to create LIT SAN LEANDRO, installing a 11-mile fiber optic loop across the entire City.
