Using high-quality clay, Solava produces tiles and
pantiles that can be used for specially designed
roofs. To meet the demands of a range of tastes and
traditions, Solava has been producing the Roman Roof
Tiles in six different colorings for fifty years. A high
degree of mechanical resistance, bending strength and
freeze resistance and a low permeability are the techni-
cal specifications of every single piece, certificated by
brand CE.

The quality of the individual pieces is ensured
by a careful selection and blending of the
est clays, extracted in an environmentally
riendly manner and systematically tested at
n-house laboratories to guarantee their high
echnical specifications. The range extends from
he warm and natural red coloring of the Chianti
ne to the elegance of the pa le Galestro line, and
rom the fascination of the weathered finish of
he Riserva pieces to the pleasing contrasts and
armonious combinations of the Vernaccia ele-
ments, up to the new ones: Malvasia, the yellow
ged line and Sangiovese, the last aged line.
La qualit dei singoli pezzi inizia con
unaccurata selezione e miscelazione delle
migliori argille, estratte nel rispetto dei principi
mbientali, sistematicamente testate nei labo-
atori dellazienda garantendo cos elevatissime
aratteristiche tecniche. La gamma va dalla
alda colorazione rosso naturale della linea
hianti, alleleganza della linea chiara Galestro,
al fascino del manufatto segnato dal tempo dei
ezzi Riserva ai gradevoli contrasti ed armo-
iosi accostamenti degli elementi Vernaccia,
alla colorazione gialla della Malvasia allultima
nvecchiata su tonalit verde, la Sangiovese.
