GENERAL PURPORT OR EFFECT OF THE ABOVEMENTIONED STATUTORY RULES

(1) Criminal Amendment Rules 2017

These Rules of Court amend the Criminal Rules 2006 by reducing the maximum length of a victim impact statement, made under those Rules of Court, from 20 pages to 10 pages excluding medical reports and other annexures.

(2) Threatened Species Protection Order 2017

This order amends the Threatened Species Protection Act 1995 by adding 2 fish species to the Schedule of endangered native flora and fauna.

I, the Honourable Peter Carl Gutwein, Treasurer, pursuant to section 40ABA(1) of the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995, hereby give notice that this Wholesale Electricity Price Order for the 2017-18 financial year is in effect from its date of publication in the Tasmanian Government Gazette.

For the purposes of section 40AB(3A) of the Electricity Supply Industry Act 1995 the wholesale electricity price is to be $83.79/MWh.
