Declaration of special dividend

The Board of Directors of Vodacom Tanzania PLC is pleased to, subject to obtaining approval from the Annual General Meeting of shareholders to be held on Friday 30th October 2020, recommend a special dividend of TZS 178.57 per share.

Pursuant to the declaration of dividend, the timetable for dividend payment will be as follows:

Announcement 21st September 2020Start date to trade shares cum dividend 21st September – 12th October 2020Shares commence trading ex-dividend 13th October 2020Record date 16th October 2020Payment date: 13th November 2020

Dividend will be deposited either in the shareholders’ bank accounts or mobile money channels.
