Our platform has been custom developed by VoIP.co.uk and as such we can make an changes we need or fault find very quickly. Other SIP providers buy off the shelf equipment and as such have problems with support with unknown issues as the manufacturers have to fault find for them.
We monitor for toll fraud 24x7 within our network. This protects our customers from running up large bills from fraud. Our platform will tell us straight away if unusual activity is noticed and we will act on it. Other SIP providers cannot do this and as a result customers are exposed to larger bills as a result.
Our direct access circuits allow us to offer a true ISDN replacement product. We have heavily invested in this technology and this puts our voice network ahead of most other providers.

VoIP.co.uk supports Transport Layer Security (TLS) and Secure RTP (SRTP) protocols for encrypting both SIP messages and RTP (the media stream) between your IP-PBX platform and VoIP.co.uk.
Theses two protocols provide protection from eavesdropping, wiretapping and privacy issues. Also and more importantly it is fully compliant with PCI regulations for calls passing over a public network e.g. the internet.
With PCI regulations now starting to enforce security of calls on a public network TLS and SRTP will become very important. The majority of businesses take card payments of some sort or another. This means that they will need to use encryption on these calls if they pass over a public network.
