Once you have checked out and ordered the software:

1. You should have received an email with a register link to DreamSpark. Email your instructor if you have not received this.

2. Finish registration after you receive email.3. Make sure you’re logged in to dreamspark.com.4. Search for “Windows 10”

5. “Add to Cart” with “Windows 10 Education 32/64-bit (English) - DreamSpark”


6. Search for “Visual Studio”


7. Add “Visual Studio Community 2015” to cart.

8. Checkout.

1. After downloading and clicking the VMware-Fusion dmg file, input your serial on the screen that appears.

2. Click “Continue”3. Click “Done”4. Install from disk or image should be selected as blue, then hit “Continue”

5. Drag Windows iso to “New Virtual Machine” screen, then click “Continue”

6. Choose “Use Easy Install”7. Select a password8. Enter the product key from

earlier in the process 9. Drop down: Windows 10 Pro,

then click “Continue”


11. Select “Customize Settings”, then click “Save”

10. We suggest choosing More Isolated as this is more contained, then click “Continue”.VMWare

12. Click on “Processors and memory” from the settings dialog box 13. Dropdown to 2 processor cores14. Set Memory to 4096 MB

15. Select “Show All”16. Close the dialog box.

17. Click the play button.


18. Click “next” on the intial Windows setup page.

Visual Studio iso.


3. Choose “Virtual Machine -> CD/DVD(SATA) -> Connect CD/DVD”

5. Choose “This PC”, then double click “DVD Drive”
