The Inception of VIIS
Vivekananda Institute of Indian Studies (VIIS) was set up at SVYM Mysuru in 2008. It was born out of the growing internal conviction that :
India has as much to offer to the world as it has to gain from it .The rich cultural heritage and civilizational wisdom should serve as an ideal foundation to build a vibrant future. To expand human and social capital in order to create global citizenship to make the world a better place.
