Installation, operation,maintenance and service aredrastically simplified and reduced.With our new Fastfix installationsystem, our heating boilers areinstalled quickly – saving time andmoney.

High quality and top performance –this is what the Vitola 200 offers.With its biferral heat exchangersurface, the Vitola 200 sets a newstandard, which has written heatinghistory. The heat exchanger surfacehas a decisive advantage comparedto conventional heating surfaces.

Switches off when no heat isrequired

Most heating boilers have to beoperated throughout the year at aconstant base temperature – duringthe transitional months and even inthe summer, when the heating boileris only used for domestic hot waterheating. This is not the case with theVitola 200. Thanks to the biferral heatexchanger surface, specificallydesigned for modulating boiler watertemperatures without low limit, theboiler water temperature can beadjusted automatically to outsidetemperatures. If no heat is needed,the boiler even turns itself off,reducing fuel consumption.

This makes for a cleanerenvironment

The Vitola 200 offers reduced energyconsumption and reduced emissions.The low-emission Viessmann burnercontributes significantly to theconservation of the environment.Due to the optimized combustionchamber geometry, nitrogen oxideemissions are significantly reduced.

Vitotronic is a new generation ofsmart controls that think along –from installation to operation, frommaintenance to service, Vitotroniccontrols 100, 200 and 300 offer theright solution for every need.

Everything in sight –everything under control

The clear operating platform of allVitotronic controls was designed inaccordance with the latest ergonomicresearch. The Vitotronic 200/300controls are easily adjustable to anydesired operating position. A plaintext supported LCD display makesadjustments child’s play.

After adjustments are made, thecontrol is simply pushed back intothe housing, where it blendsseamlessly into the Vitotronic design.An LED light display indicates theoperating status.

At the touch of a button:warm – or cold

Whether you are expecting guests orare ready to depart for an evening ora holiday trip, with the Vitotronic 200or 300 controls you can adjust yourheating system with the touch of abutton – for example with the party oreconomy buttons, which temporarilychange the operating mode. Theholiday program will lower theheating system temperature to saveenergy while you are away for longerperiods of time.

Comfort comes first

For those who would like moreconvenience operating their heatingsystem – the Vitotrol remote controlcan easily be added to the Vitotroniccontrol system. Vitotrol allowsremote operation from your livingarea.

Vitotronic 200 control

The most effective domestic hotwater heating system is thecombination of a hot water heatingboiler and an indirect-fired domestichot water storage tank. High andsteady flow rates, low standby lossesand high draw rates stand forcomfort, economy and reliability. Italso stands for the new Vitocell tankseries, providing the right solutionfor every need – from 42 to 120USG/160 to 450 liters, with single ordual heat exchanger coils, for tankplacement below or beside (page 6)the heating boiler.

Vitocell 100

The Vitocell 100 domestic hot waterstorage tanks with Ceraprotect two-coat enamel finish meet all demandsfor comfortable, economicaldomestic hot water heating and takea leading position in the market forenameled domestic hot waterstorage tanks combined with a hotwater heating boiler. The Ceraprotecttwo-coat enamel finish, together witha consumable anode, protects thetank against corrosion.

Vitocell 300

The Vitocell 300 domestic hot waterstorage tanks made of corrosion-resistant high-alloy stainless steelsatisfy the most stringent hygienicrequirements and expectations.Stainless steel is a material which isused for its outstanding hygienicproperties in kitchens, laboratories,hospitals and in the food processingindustry. Even after many years ofuse, the homogeneous surface ofhigh-alloy stainless steel remainscompletely hygienic.

Every single component of ourheating technology follows theVitotec building block principle. Thisguarantees a smooth functioning ofthe entire heating system. All boilers,burners and controls harmonizeperfectly.

Controls

The Vitotronic controls 100, 200 and300 (Fig. 1) meet the demands ofevery heating system application –from the basic to the sophisticated.

Platform

All Vitola 200 boilers have a commonbase chassis (Fig. 2). This simplifiesthe installation, operation,maintenance and serviceconsiderably.

Burners

All Viessmann burners (Fig. 3) arefactory tested at operatingtemperature and are adjusted to therated boiler input.

Domestic hot water tanks

The comprehensive Vitocell domestichot water tank program (Fig. 4) offerseconomical hot water comfort forevery need.

Remote control

For Vitotronic 200/300 controls,adjustable Vitotrol remote controls(Fig. 5) are available. They allow easycontrol of the heating system fromyour living area.

Accessories

The Divicon mixing valve station (Fig. 6) comes completely assembledand can be easily installed.

A safety header (Fig. 7) with pressurerelief valve, pressure gage and airvent including molded insulationshells, completes the accessorypackage.

Platform strategy

The new unity of Vitotec lies in itsconstructional design and follows awell-established technical principle.With the Vitotec program, Viessmannhas implemented a modulartechnology strategy based on onecommon platform, whereby differentfunctional modules are positioned onone base chassis to build differentmodels. This permits the use ofmany identical parts, uniform andeasy-to-follow installation steps, anda reduced number of universal spareparts. Maintenance, servicing andoperation are considerably simplifiedthrough a uniform design andstandardization.

Operation made easy

The new Vitotronic controls are alsodesigned on the building blockprinciple. Four modules, two basechassis with motherboards andsafety controls, and two operatingunits (fixed or in drawer form) makeup the complete control program.
