In times when Internet access is common and almost every information can be verified in a few minutes, no brand can afford the lack of authenticity and communication cohesion. The image it shows to the world determines how it will be evaluated by employees and business partners. That is why it is so important to

set a clear path to image building and consistently follow it. This is particularly important for companies like ours - operating on the global market and selling all products under one brand. Only clear specific image will ensure consistency in messages addressed to all stakeholders.

When building the Visual Identification System for TELE-FONIKA Kable all the rules and good industry practices that make the image more consistent, emphasize the area of its activity and emphasize the characteristics that the brand stands for has been taken into account.

The introduction of the new Visual Identification System (SIW) was aimed not only at finding the best way to present brand outdoors, but also to create the image of one Group, consisting of many entities, that pay homage to the same principles and comply with the same standards. This is the starting point to gain reputation, create the right brand history and inspire confidence in customers.

Thanks to the refreshed identification, the company’s greatest strengths were highlighted as a team of pofessionals with extensive competence and experience of over 25 years on market (although the history of our plants dates back to the beginning of the 20th century). Other features with which TELE-FONIKA Kable wants to be identified are:

•   position of one of the leading players on the production market of high quality, adapted to all requirments for cables and cable systems;

•   innovativeness in implemented solutions on the domestic and international market (including intelligent and automated production lines, but also innovation within products themselves);

•  incessant but sustainable development, effective planning and „looking to the future” (rationalization of production, material saving, environmental consideration);

•   modern approach to business - both in production and communication with market participants;

•    he care for loyal employees as the biggest asset of the company;

• providing specific values with which the brand is identified.

Consistent visual identification is one of the most important elements of building the image and an important tool for brand management. In this regard TELE-FONIKA Kable sets the following goals.

Direct goal:

•   strengthening the brand image of TELE-FONIKA Kable.

Indirect goals:

•  informing - presenting information about products and services;

•  creating demand and activating the target group through cyclic actions;

•  Product promotion by reminding - designing targeted and repeated deliveries to the target group;

•  building the image of TELE-FONIKA Kable brand through education - realiznig image actions, emphasizing brand values (building intellectual capital);

•  maintaining and shaping the image;

•  communication support for the products being introduced;

•  highlighting innovation and unique USP in generated messages.

The purpose of introducing the Visual Identification System for TELE-FONIKA Kable is creating a recognizable and distinctive brand image, identifying approved ways of using the logo and other accompanying materials, graphic elements, as well as the creation of uniform standards of visual communication.

The system covers all elements related to the image of TELE-FONIKA Kable, and in particular:

•   rules of TELE-FONIKA Kable logo application;

•   rules for Key Visiual application;

•   list of acceptable visual forms in accordance with accepted standards of visual communication;

•   standardization of elements of the Visual Indentity System:

• company emphemera templates,

•   advertising materials,

•   business accessories

•   other elements, including internal and external marking, IDs, etc.

The Visual Identity System sets the rules for both creation of corporate printouts as well as information and advertising materials. The standards are intended to maintain a consistent image of the TELE-FONIKA Kable Group, irrespective of the place of implementation of these materials and activities undertaken.

15The Brand Book is designed to ensure the integrity of the TF Kable brand everywhere where the company is present with its products.

The word and figurative mark TF Kable is a legally protected trademark in Poland and in the world.

The logo should not be subjected to any alterations that violate it original shape, proportions or colors.

The Brand Book contains information on proper use of TF Kabel trademark.

For the sake of a coherent character of the visual identity of the brand, the rules in this study should be strictly followed.

The tilt of letters is related to the dynamism of action and the speed of reaction to the changing environment, the colors with harmony and security.

The current logo is the essence of the original company name that was created in April 1992 under the name of TELE-FONIKA Kable Company s.c.

17Structure and proportions of the logoGraphic sign of TF Kable have been designed on a 4n x 8n modular grid. It is composed of modules with sides of equal length. Grids are subordinate to the size of all the elements of the character and the distance between them.

The length of the side of the individual grid module is indicated by the letter „n”. This length corresponds to the height at which the letter F projects over the letter T.

When designing the logo, keep the tilt angle of the letters equal to 75 degrees.

In addition, an auxiliary grid was introduced (shown in the picture as thinner line resulting from the division of each module into 64 smaller squares of equal size). Modular grid is used to map characters in very large sizes (ie. large format reproductions) when it is impossible to use a vector pattern included in the graphic file.

18 Logo protection zoneLogo protection zone is the margin of the empty space around the logo in which nothing can be placed (both graphic and text).

The use of logo protection zone allows for a proper visual reception of the logo while having a positive influence on its visibility and legibility

19Company ColoursThe colors of the company are one of the most important elements of the company identification system and have a very big effect on how the company is perceived.

Green represents positive values such as harmony, stability or security. It is also associated with development, growth, vitality, modernity and freshness.

The dark, subdued shade of green is the right color for the company with a well-established and stable position on the international arena. A manufacturer who has since

the beginning of its existence placed great emphasis on the application and development of modern technologies, materials and raw materials that are environmentally friendly, economically efficient, while at the same time being rational and environmentaly friendly with waste management.

Above, the basic version of the logo in color and negative monochrome version.

The basic version of the logo is on a white background, but it can also be used in the negative. Then, depending on the size of the logo, for proper readability it should be represented all in white. Negatives apply only in absolutely demanding materials such as fax paper, black boards, pens, advertising materials - if you need to place a logo on materials with dark colors.

23Logo - background colorsThe basic color of the brand’s background is white. In certain cases (i.e. bulk prints and advertising) it is allowed to use the monochrome version of the sign on the selected colors, however, it should always correspond to the industry and the nature of the company

It is unacceptable to use multicolor combinations, especially in the case of a full color version of the logo. The background, suitably matched to both publication as well as the sign, must always correspond to the size of the sign’s protection zone.

The main principle is the legibility and visibility of the character on the background .

24 Writing style / typographyJust like the colors used by our company, the font is also an integral part of the corporate identity.

Company Typography is a set of distinctive writing styles. For internal use we recommend the Arial or Calibri font families which are system fonts. 32 Key visualKey Visual is a collection of distinctive graphic themes that build consistent image of the company. It is a recurring graphic element / style on every medium that clearly distinguishes the brand. However, to achieve the intended objectives, it must be applied consistently and in strict accordance with the principles.

Tele-Fonika brand key visual consists of the elements stated below.

Horizontal stripes in different shades of green (symbolizing the cables) + slogan „Connecting globally”. Stripe colors can be used as a complement to the brand’s basic color scheme. This theme should be placed on all labeled elements.

If there is enough space on the media, a panorama can be added to the key visual, showing the economic sectors in which the consumption of cables is the largest.
