Texture- the way a surface feels or looks like it would feel such as smooth, rough, or bumpy.
Space- an empty surface or area. Also, the area surrounding something.
Value- the lightness or darkness of colors.

mother nature that can not be made by mixing any other 2 colors- used to make every other color- red, yellow, blue

Warm- make you feel happy or excited- red, orange, yellow
Cool- sad or sleepy- blue, violet, green
Complimentary- colors that look good together and are opposite each other on the color wheel- red/green, blue/orange, yellow/violet

unlike things, such as a dark color and a light color, to create interest
Balance- The arrangement of the elements, in a work of art, used to make the artwork feel equal (like balancing a scale)
Emphasis- it is the importance given to a certain object or area in an artwork and is used to attract the viewers eye
Subject MatterStill Life- An artwork showing an
arrangement of objects that cannot move on their own, such as fruit or flowers
Portrait- a work of art created to show a person or group of people
Landscape- a drawing, painting or photograph that shows outdoor scenery such as trees, lakes, mountains, and fields.
