Soyou’vedecidedyouwantyouryard tobe the talkof theneighborhood? You have two options, grass landscapingordesert landscaping, howdoyoudeterminewhich is the

Manyofuswouldprefertohavecolorfullandscapingandthereforegrass would be the best option. Or would it? Homeowners whoattempttogrowgrass intransitionzoneswherewarm-andcool-seasongrassescaneachbegrownmayfaceabattletokeeptheirlawnshealthyandlookingtheirbest.Installinggrassisonethingbutkeepingitlushandgreenallsummerisanother.

We all want to cut costs and conserve water, but a lawn that isnot maintained and watered properly may be more susceptibletoweeds, diseasesandpests.Manyofusdon’thavetheenergytodethatch, fertilize, overseed, andmaintainweedcontrol and amowingregimenregularly.Thankfullythereisanotheroption.

Desert landscaping can be amazingly attractive. A great desertlandscapewill result ina look thatcaptures thenaturalbeautyoftheexpansivedesertwhileatthesametimeturningablindeyetosomeof its lessattractiveelements.Inadditiontotheexceptionalaesthetic value offered by a desert look, desert landscaping alsooffersmanyadditionaladvantages.

Desert landscaping allows us to make use of plants that willperformtotheirutmostintheenvironment. It ispossibletocreateandmaintainalushgreenlawninthemiddleofthedesertthroughfrequentwatering. However, nomatterwhatonedoes inorder tofoster itsgrowth, itwillneverbeasstrongandresilientas intheirindigenous surroundings. Desert landscaping takes advantage ofthat natural truth by using plants that thrive in dryer conditions.Vistancia has a very extensive list of plant materials that are notonlybeautifulandwillwithstandtheheatfromthesummermonths, but will also thrive in our Arizona weather.
