To startup VisSim, go toSTART menu VisSim 3.0

VisSim allows you to group function blocks.

Highlight the block and edit it as a Compound Block.

PI and PID controller blocks are availablein the VisSim folder under the DeltaV

data. You can open these files and copyand paste the controller blocks whenrequired.

You might find it useful to check out theway these blocks are written.

To wire the blocks, just left clickthe mouse, same way you soft

wire Simulink or other programs.

Now we need to add the feedbackloop and a set point. The set pointcan be a constant.
